'The Alonnah' has been curated to provide a comfortable, short term rental for travellers to Bruny.

Gorgeous Tasmanian Oak flooring in both the main house and studio provide a feeling of light and warmth throughout. The beautiful kitchen is fitted with quality cabinetry and benchtops and stylish Scandi roller blinds. The well-designed, built-in wardrobes maximise space and storage. This home is fully insulated and has had a recently installed heat pump to keep you warm in Winter. The laundry includes a washing machine and dryer and is excellent for those looking to spend upwards of a week exploring Bruny Island and Hobart.The generous L-shaped timber deck is perfect for entertaining and soaking in the extraordinary views on afternoons once you are done with your day!

The main house includes a queen bed. The extra sleeping quarters with a Split King bed (that can be converted to singles) is inside the fully contained unit next to the house. Rent the single house for two guests or under in our separate listing, or rent the entire home and unit to accommodate up to four guests via this listing. Each bedroom has hotel quality linen and toweling included. The bathroom is clean and modern, with a shower and vanity. There is also a separate toilet in the house.

The unit is fully self contained and follows the same design and styling as the main house. There is a small kitchenette, shower and toilet and bedroom, as well as a living space with a TV. WiFi extends to the unit.

Located in the heart of beautiful Bruny Island, this property is only 1 hour driving time from Hobart City, with an easy 10-minute ferry trip and ferries depart every 20 minutes. Local services are a short, leisurely walk and include the community health centre, chemist, school, shop, pub, and beach. The close-by beach is dog-friendly and a favourite swimming spot.
