First thing was when we checked in the phone in the room wasn't working. After two staff and 1 technician still wasn't working. Glad we had our own. It was horrible to try to watch any daily news or programs. Cable TV was to complicated. Who wants to watch news from every country in the world. Flies were persistence. Breakfast with okay. What would you expect for the price.

The room was very dirty. The tub was so stained I didn’t want to use it. When I used the sink, fruit flies flew out of the drain and the water tasted terrible. When I pulled back the bedspread, the sheets were so thin I could see through them. I ended up leaving and paying for another hotel that night. When I dropped my key card back at the front desk and told the agent I wasn’t staying because of the state of the room he just said, “ok”.

There were flies in my room and I spent nearly all night trying to kill them. Stains on the walls and doors, towels were dingy. I booked a king bed and they put me in a room with 2 queen beds. I drove from Houston and it was about 9 hours so I was too exhausted to argue.

At first glance, the room was “updated”, however, while they have some updated features, the finishes were not. The bathroom was dingy. I was not impressed by this hotel, but for the money, it was okay at best. The TV service was horrible as well. Breakfast was also okay at best. Again, just wasn’t impressed.

This was the worst La Quinta we ever stayed at. Flies in the room, holes in the wall, dirty bathroom floor, dirty sheets (pen strokes all over sheets), pillows have been overused etc. Felt dirty and unsafe.

Terrible Stay
La Quinta has never let us down but our stay last night was terrible. Walking into after arriving, we were met with several flies. TV was not cable ready and bed was very noisy and not comfortable. People upstairs very noisy too. I tried addressing to person at desk but he looked like he couldn’t be bothered. He was checking in several guys but he could just say “ I’ll be with you shortly but he wouldn’t even look my way. “

The room was cleanish, 2.5-3 star style property. The kind you would stay at if you were traveling for business. The breakfast was good, there was plenty of seating. There was also ample parking (see below though for the state of the parking lot). The shower was dirty (my 6 year old insisted on wearing her crocs in there while showering), the window was broken, there was a hole in the fitted sheet so I was touching the mattress (yuck). My biggest complaint was the parking lot. There were numerous groups of obvious full time or long term residents standing around partying and drinking in the parking lot. I was concerned for my family’s safety and the safety of my vehicle. Considering drinking in public is illegal it wouldn’t be hard to have the parking lot checked by police.

The floor was still dirty, the refrigerator was broken when I got there, the phone didn’t work either. The sink smelled awful and the tub drain was clogged. The other tenants were horribly noisy.
