About this property

Entire place

You'll have the entire home to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

A West Texas experience with a big sky, 3-bed, 2 bath. Fam & pet friendly.

Come stay at the farm in our comfortable, newly redecorated 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home in south Amarillo. Amenities include WiFi and AC, 2 queen bedrooms, one with TV, the cowboy room with TV sleeps 5 in a day-bed and a twin over full bunk bed. The fully outfitted kitchen, backyard grill, and spacious dining room make cooking and dining convenient while the den features a 55" TV, ample comfortable seating, family games, and a wide collection of Western and American war history books. The utility room offers full washer/dryer, wash-up area and leads into the privacy-fenced backyard for pets. There are several outdoor security cameras and ample parking away from the street. This is a relaxing place for star gazing or observe the daytime sky with storms approaching or leaving, sunrise / sunset, astronomical events or just a clear day.

This 20 acre former wheat and livestock farm may offer wildlife sightings such as skunks (don't go for a walk after dusk, but if you see one, don't make any noise and don't run), opossums, foxes, coyotes, possibly snakes. In the early mornings you can hear neighborhood roosters crow and a donkey bray.

The backyard is large and secure, and will debut a lawn during spring of '25. Until then, enjoy the Texas dirt. That's what our ancestors made a living from, amazingly. If someone wants to pitch a tent in front or back yard, they are welcome.

This comfortable and safe home is on a busy county road. The traffic goes fast. Kids and pets need to beware of that street.

Felt like home, but better!
Everything was just so comfortable! It looked like a home that was meant to be relaxed in. Many of my previous rental experiences looked great, but weren't comfortable either due to cheap or broken furnishings, or it looked like the perfect VRBO rental, but the beauty was only skin deep. Every room in the house looked like a home, was comfortable like a home and we all just felt like we could make ourselves AT home. Top notch property and great communication from the owner!
