The room was as promised, with a medieval touch, though there was smell in the hall and dining area, nothing too overpowering in the room though .. Study table too small, lotion should be provided.. One thing to watch for: they might not change the bed sheets or cover daily but just make the bed. If you want to ensure the old sheets and cover are replaced, you might need to be a bit proactive and check.
I understand that fewer changes of sheets are more environmentally friendly and they usually don’t reach the level of dirtiness from just one night’s sleep. However, this does cut costs, and I think the savings should be passed on to us guests. Given the service and the environment, I would expect to pay less than $110 per night rate I paid this time.
