I can’t wait to return!

The hotel was immaculate and the staff were so friendly. The amenities were top notch and the room was really comfortable, it had everything I needed and more. The location was central and ideal for a tourist wanting to explore. I came down to breakfast and was met by an array of bread and pastries which I thought looked lovely, I didn’t realise until I was shown to my table that they had laid out a wonderful assortment of treats for me including fresh mini pancakes, fresh fruit, yoghurt, boiled egg, cheese and meat- the coffee was great and I was blown away by the service and attention to detail from the staff. I will be recommending the hotel to anyone visiting and I hope to be back myself in the near future. I wouldn’t want to spoil any surprises for future guests of the hotel but the extra touches went a long way, thank you.

All of the employees were very nice and helpful with any questions I may have had. It was also fantastic having the cafe that I could pop into before hitting the city and grab a latte and bill it to my room, which I did most days! The breakfast was more than I could eat, which was also included in my room rate. I made it into breakfast and lunch a couple of the days I was there. I was a solo female traveler and felt safe at all times, day and night.

Fabulous Experience

So often I have to stay in large hotel chains and coming to The Craftsman is anything but that kind of experience. Firstly, the warm staff are so generous with their time and expertise. We arrived early and they made us comfortable with coffees and a seat in the dining room. The breakfast was ample but simple and was a great start to the day's activities. The hotel is located convenient to nearly everything a first-time visitor could want. As second-time visitors, we also really enjoyed the how convenient things still were. The rooms was unique and comfortable -- designed with such care and attention to detail. Can't wait to come back soon!

Absolutely fantastic from the second I stepped in the door. Staff was next level welcoming, friendly and helpful. Really can't say enough good things about them. They went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. The sumptuous daily breakfast was a highlight of every morning. The water pressure in the shower was the best I've ever experienced in a hotel like this. The hot water was instant and appreciated on chilly February mornings. The room was adorable and quirky in all the best ways. I stayed in the bookbinder (advertised as a single traveler, "tiny" room), and while it was definitely a smaller space, it was set up in such a way that I never felt cramped or confined. Absolutely would (and will) stay here again.
