Beware. Bed bugs!!! Woke up the next morning with both arms covered in ugly itching red welts! Hotel needs to have staff inspect mattresses and bedding and to treat accordingly. Hotel is located in a lovely upscale neighborhood, so this was extremely unexpected.
Decent location, but the property is grungy and not well kept. For the amount being charged, it is not a good value. The room is really an attic, with bolted windows, and cramped. It seems that they’ve tried to fit in as many rooms as possible in a building, with no regard to asthetics, mobility or safety.
The hotel and especially the staff were excellent. So friendly, cozy, felt like home.

Good location, right at vondel park, easy to walk around. Only downside of my stay is that we were located in the basement although we did have a large window that opened to a courtyard.
Lovely hotel, very peaceful with very friendly, helpful staff and great location, within minutes of Rijksmuseum, Vondelpark and Leidseplein. Highly recommended.
We stayed 3 nights and liked the location, the view of the Park, the good front desk hospitality and of course the easy walk into the heart of old Amsterdam. Would definitely stay here again.

Twin rooms too small!!!
Please read the small print in the description of the room as the picture does not match the actual size of the room. A twin room is only 75 sq feet which does not allow space for luggage. The bathroom with shower also did not have a door so no privacy
The desk service was good and the location was excellent.
The property was decent and good value. The beds were comfortable and the location is very nice, however the room was dusty with cobwebs and spiders. After we explained the issue, the employee at the front desk was very nice and helpful and had our room cleaned and offered a discounted rate. She was great! Most of the staff were very helpful and welcoming except for one. Whoever was working around 15:15 on 11/10 was a bit rude. We checked out that morning and went for breakfast. We left our luggage and were told to ring the doorbell when we come back as our door code was now expired. We came back and kept ringing and while this staff saw us and recognized us from before, she would not open the door for us until we kept ringing. She finally came and seemed annoyed saying we need to use our code, so I explained we checked out and she still said we should have a code. We just did what the previous staff from the morning told us to do. She was also rude when we asked one evening if we could have tea and sit by the fireplace in the lobby. She said we can have tea in our room. Overall, decent property and again all the staff was very polite and nice except for this one person who was working Friday October 11, between 15:00-15:30.
What a perfect location for us.
Easy and walkable, right beside a gorgeous park and the museums. The room was clean, and comfortable. The walls had a bunch of paint peeling and could be updated.
Basic and perfect for a stay when you truly don’t need indoor time. Bed is comfortable and shower is great. Staff is sweet and available for questions and needs. There are other spaces available to utilize on the property, but truly, go out and enjoy Amsterdam.

Just a great spot, overall, location, friendliness,
A hidden gem.
Sonder Park House was in an excellent location to get the tram at Museumplein and go throughout the city. The staff was friendly and very helpful, answering questions that helped us to navigate Amsterdam. The only issue I had was a smell coming from the drain in the bathroom, which, on hindsight, I should have brought to the attention of the staff, but closing the door took care of it short term. Check-inn and check-out was easy, and the staff arranged a taxi to take us to the airport. I would stay here again.
Staff at reception were excellent - welcoming and very helpful. Location was convenient to local museums and city centre. Accommodations were small but very adequate. Bathrooms could use upgrades but were also adequate. Enjoyed our stay and would consider staying there again.
I have been patient for over a week trying to get a refund for my stay I booked which I did not stay in because it was way too loud. First I was in a room right next to an elevator shaft that was hot and loud, the next room was a down grade overlooking the fans of the restaurant next door and the workers decided to start jamming out at 11pm I had to shut the window and there’s no airflow not even a vent in the bathroom it was awful. I stopped at the front desk and asked to be moved to a third room which they had but that room had a broken Window which couldn’t open so again hot and no airflow. I left the hotel at 11:30 walking through the streets and went to a different hotel a mile away. The staff was nice and accommodating, apologetic and promised me a full refund. I’m still left hanging with one night charge and wish I’d read the reviews first more closely prior to booking this place. I’m sorry to say I would not recommend anyone staying here unless you’re just going out to party and need a place to crash.
