We were a group of five families staying for a birthday trip. We have been coming here since our children were little, back when it was Ramada Maingate, and it continues to be our favorite place to stay. We have been coming to this hotel for over 24 years!

Overall it was a decent hotel. The one downside is that the shower was clogged and water did t run down the drain fast enough.

When you hear the name "Grand Legacy" you would assume you were getting at least some sort of "luxury," however our recent experience proved otherwise in both the quality of the rooms and especially the customer experience. We walked into our room, not only did it not look like their pictures but we were also hit with a smell so bad that it took our breath away... we later identified it as mold (we actually saw it in the room). We ended up switching rooms to one that wasn't much better smell wise, but no visible mold that we could find. every item of clothing you wore ended up smelling like mildew. They need to give the photographer who photographed their rooms a raise because, job. well. done. You fooled me. Perhaps their suites are better taken care of but after seeing it in person, I can say that any room here is over priced. The only pro was the distance to Disneyland which was an easy walk. The night before we went to the parks we confirmed with the front desk that we could pay to leave our car onsite for an additional fee which we were happy to pay. As we were getting ready the next morning the night agent Gabriel (I believe) informed us that they were at capacity and couldn't leave our car there. This threw a huge wrench in our plans and was not the information we were given. He was rude, condescending and spoke over me constantly. No manager available to help so I ended up parking at the parks which took up extra time and was so inconvenient. So disappointed.

I loved the hotel! I plan on making another stay once I go to Disney again. My only issue was, there was a large family next to my room and I could hear them through the walls. This hotel beats the others that I’ve stayed at near Disney! You can’t beat an 8 minute walk!

My husband and I extended our trip, so we decided to stay here for the night. The staff were very friendly. We checked out of our other hotel at 6:30 am and asked to check in early here. They didn't have a room available, but they said we could park our car in the lot and go to Disney until we can check in. The walk to the parks was short, its like right across the street from the main entrance. Check in was very easy and the room was immaculate. The carpet was super comfy, the beds were a little firm for our taste but we still got a good night sleep. There was make up remover wipes and tissues for us to use. The fridge was pretty big, too, for a mini fridge. All around, I would stay here again.

The room was old and had a smell. You could see the outside through the closed door, our sink would not drain and we had to brush our teeth in the bath tub. It was so loud, you could hear every little thing. We got no sleep and one night had to call security as a strange man was knocking loudly on everyone’s doors and wouldn’t leave.
