The room had a pullout sofabed which made it very nice for traveling with 3 kids. The room was nice. I noticed later after we settled in and had already gone to the pool that the room had not been cleaned completely. There was garage in the can, hair in the shower drain, and something spilled on the bedside table. It was late and we had already been there so long we decided just to stay there and not ask them to move us. The staff were lovely, especially at the breakfast service. We enjoyed the food and it was well supplied even late in the breakfast service window. On our final day there were not any pool towels available. When I requested some at the front desk they offered to bring some to our room but I already had wet kids in the pool that I didn’t want to leave alone. We dripped through the hallways back to our room.

Worst experience of our lives
I requested room service everyday for 8 days. Who wouldn't be mad on the 8th day? Then when room serivce finally came the bell man john stood in the door trying to intimidate me and my 4 small children. He was also talking trash as we walked out of our room for a noise complaint that happend at 8pm. Me and my children didnt feel safe, as the hotel staff are like family. As each day went, we could tell other workers hated us because of john and the front desk lady who just refused to give us quarters, while the night ladies gladly gave us quaters after the day shift worker said they didnt have any. What a way to treat a mother and her 4 small children. (2 of the lady night workers were absolutely amazing though)

Our stay was completely ruined by the hotel's poor soundproofing and unprofessional handling of complaints. Starting at 7 PM, the child in the room above us was running and screaming nonstop, and the constant thudding made it impossible to relax. We put up with it for 30 minutes before going to the front desk. A staff member came to our room, heard the noise firsthand, called it "ridiculous," and assured us they would speak to the guests upstairs and let us know the outcome. But we never heard back, and the noise continued. By 8:30 PM, we had to call the front desk again, saying that if it wasn’t resolved soon, we’d have to involve the authorities. They promised to send someone up again, but it wasn’t until 9:30 PM that the noise finally stopped. The slow response, lack of communication, and overall unprofessionalism were unacceptable. For a hotel, soundproofing and proper handling of guest complaints should be basic standards. Unfortunately, this experience fell far short, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you value peace and good service.
