The rooms we had with 2 double beds were a little bit of a squash for four people. My 2yr old granddaughter became very sick in the first 24 hours. A couple of staff members were really incredibly helpful. It’s thought she might have picked up a bug from the swimming pool, hard to tell.

Pros: Great staff, tidy resort, nice rooms, walking distance to Apia Cons: Loud aircon, dirty pool, limited fresh food options at breakfast and in the restaurant It is a nice place for a short stay. I wouldn't touch the pool near the end of the trip though, it was filthy.

1 the wait staff were excellent 2 the breakfast was excellent 3 we were not provided clean dry towels for our 2nd day 4 the food in the restaurant was very limited and average 5 we stayed 2 nights at the beginning of our trip and 2 nights at the end. I booked the last night and then I booked the second to last night. 2 bookings for 2 consecutive nights. 6 I was woken up at 11.30 pm with a phone call from reception wanting me to get dressed and go to reception to check out from the first night and re check in for the second night and then check out again in the morning. I didnt understand the logic in that. It upset me and I couldnt get back to sleep. The next morning I complained and received an email apology. But the whole episode tainted my stay. 7 a very noisy family had their own loud music playing through a speaker by the pool and the hotel never told them to turn it down as it was infringing on the other poolside guests enjoyment of the pool area. Again tainting the enjoyment of mt stay.

As good as it gets
There’s not much choice in Apia and this is about as good as it gets. I had a nice large room in an older establishment that could use some updating. Breakfast was barely adequate with few choices. The staff was friendly and helpful. The alternative at the Sheraton was way too corporate and overpriced.
