Very nice
This is a very nice property. Clean and extremely well equipped all you need to bring is your clothes you will want for nothing else. Beautiful home with a nice little guest house great location at a very fair price. I very highly recommend a stay here.

Adorable, light and cheery, comfy
I went for a few of days with a friend for my birthday, and adored this place. It was so light and airy and I loved the original art. The sofa was comfy and long enough that i didn’t need to open it up. I would enjoy going back to stay for a month to paint, read and relax.

Wonderful beach getaway
We loved the beach cottage near the beach. The owner was responsive to our questions, and we had great weather especially for January. The location was good as it was close to Santa Cruz and about a 40 minute drive to Monterey. We'll stay here again if we're in the area!

Cute guest house
We stayed two nights. The owner was very easy to work with and helpful. It was great that they had aquarium and state park passes for people to use. The beach is about 1.4 miles away, downhill on the way there, so we chose to drive. It's a nice, quiet neighborhood. The house was clean. Our biggest complaint was the bed. While I know that bed firmness/softness is personal, this mattress just seemed older and neither of us slept well on it. The sheets were also scratchy. With a more comfortable bed and softer sheets, it could have been a 5.

Excellent property, great host!
The property is attached to the owner house, but has completely independent entrance. Has a nice grill area attached to it which we did not get to enjoy, but can be an awesome place to hang around with family. The place was very clean, beds and sofa were in very good condition. The sofa bed, for a change, was actually sturdy and as good as a bed for two people. Overall very happy with this trip and our stay.

Perfect vacation place, everything was sparkling clean and well stocked with all essentials. Perfect location, close to beach and hiking trails, stores, and everything else that you may need. A beautiful little cottage for 2-3 people
This was a great place to stay (Aptos), close to Capitola, Santa Cruz, Moss Landing, etc. The property owners were compassionate and kind. The cottage has a beautiful kitchen and the hosts thought of everything you'd need to make breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The main bedroom is a roomy full-size bed; the couch pulls out to a queen. On this trip, we visited a few state parks and the Monterey Bay Aquarium with passes generously provided by our hosts. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. The beach is walkable for a fitness walk, but it is too far a walk to carry everything you might have in your car for the day.

Enjoyed the cottage
Nice property, enjoyed our stay. Great location, quiet and secluded neighborhood. Aptos is right down the hill. Nicene Marks state park is walkable from here. Cottage is well-stocked and clean. We deployed the kids on the pull-out couch and floor and that worked well. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage, Joe is a great host. They generously share their guest passes for the aquarium and state park, which saved us some money.

The ideal stay
My husband, son, dog and I stayed at the cottage for two nights while visiting the Santa Cruz area. While the rest of our party chose to stay at a nearby hotel, we decided on the cottage and I am delighted we did. It is clean, spacious and there are thoughtful details throughout the space. The property is serene and private. The property owner Joe was very attentive and accommodating. Over all, it was an ideal stay for my family. I highly recommend it to others and would definitely visit again.

The cottage was just perfect for our weekend stay. It was spotless inside & the bed was very comfy. Grocery store was close by too. We enjoyed choosing a movie from the huge CD library. Might be a little old school now, but we loved it! Joe responded quickly to messages sent. Cant wait to stay again.

Weekend stay
Joe was an excellent host and great communicator. Got an email from him early the day of check in that place was ready and we could check in early. The only issue I have is saying place is ocean view is a bit of a stretch. You can see the ocean on the horizon through the trees etc. There is no real view. You will be in your car to go to beach and restaurants as its beyond what most people would walk. Its 30 plus minutes to walk to beach and if you wanted a chair or cooler or any such thing its just not something you would walk especially back to the house at top of a relatively large hill. The place was quite nice, Joe was great but the location was less than ideal as we would have loved to be able to park the car and walk places and its a stretch to say that is really doable.

Great Place
This is a lovely little cottage. One bedroom, very loved hide a bed in the living area. It’s clean and well appointed, and best of all they allow us to have our golden retriever stay. We enjoyed the proximity to the beach. Just a short little drive. Our dog got to run off leash at the beach, and we enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Manual’s Mexican restaurant, The price was very reasonable. We hope to be back.
