Chalet Im Wieselti,near the famous ski resort of Arosa (1800m) and Weisshorn peak (2653m), offers you both comfortable accommodation and an ideal location from which to experience a wide range of winter or summer sports and outdoor activities in Switzerland. Situated in the alpine village of Langwies amongst the beautiful surroundings of the Schanfigg valley, the Chalet is ideally placed between the cosmopolitan ski resort of Arosa (15 minutes by car) and Chur the historic capital of Graubunden (20 minutes by car). The Chalet is south facing with stunning views across the valley and the famous Langwies viaduct. There is a wide variety of activities to take advantage of: Skiing Snowboarding Sledging Skating Hiking Mountain Biking Sight Seeing Fishing Golf Cultural Events and many more. The chalet is a family holiday home where guests will experience a personal atmosphere. Firewood is provided for cosy fires and well cleared roads allow easy access to the ski slopes in Arosa, the local village shop, or the sledging runs in nearby St. Peter. If guests prefer they can use the local train. The train station is just 10 minutes walk away and has regular connections to Arosa and Chur. The Arosa ski tickets include the train fare to Langwies. The Chalet comprises two separate apartments of approximately 90m² & 80m² respectively. It can sleep 10 people comfortably, with 4 beds in the upper and 6 beds in the lower apartments. In the interests of all our guests, pets are not permitted in the Chalet. Also it is requested the guests do not smoke in the Chalet during their stay. Each apartment is self contained, equipped with TV, DVD, CD/MP3 player/Radio. The kitchens are fully equipped and include a microwave. Bed linen, towels and goose down duvets are provided as well as an iron & ironing board. Each apartment has its own entrance and dedicated garage space. The apartments have a telephone and unit counter and our guests account for their usage with the caretaker upon departure. Help is always nearby in the form of René, our friendly caretaker, who is available at (nearly) all times to help with any questions our guests might have relating to either the Chalet or the area. The two apartments are separated by a staircase with its own (lockable) door. In order to enjoy the full privacy of the property most guests rent the whole chalet, however the apartments can be let individually if available. Last Chalet renovation 2021 - new terrace, oak wood floors in bedrooms, both bathrooms completely renovated.
