The only good thing about this place is the location â itâs right outside Mount Rainier National Park, which made getting into the park super easy.
Other than that, the stay was pretty disappointing. The floors were dirty, and I kept getting dirt or crumbs on my feet. There was dust everywhere and cobwebs hanging in corners, which made it hard to relax knowing there were probably bugs nearby. Every surface just felt grimy â I didnât even want to set my stuff down. Dirt in every corner. Sink easily clogged. Water was lukewarm. When the maid came in to do daily cleaning, the soap was refilled however everything else just felt like there was bare minimum effort â when the maid made the bed, the comforters were just thrown over pillows that were all out of order to have almost just like completely the task of âmaking the bedâ
They say thereâs WiFi, but it never worked once. Since thereâs no cell service in the area, that made it tough to check the weather or look up directions to plan hikes. I get that itâs a remote area, but other inns nearby had working WiFi, so that was frustrating to see we chose the wrong inn.
And the electrical situation was frustrating â every time I tried to charge something or turn on a light, something else would turn off. For example, if you plug in the coffee pot, the bathroom light goes out.
