Always amazing
It's always a great stay. They were doing construction in the lobby area so they had a temporary lobby set up and the primary lobby was closed off. Their website did indicate that they were renovating the lobby so this wasn't a surprise. They still had the nightly kickstart and the morning buffet. The construction had no impact on our stay.

The staff was very polite and accommodating. I liked that the hotel offered complimentary breakfast and dinner, however, the food was okay. I wish it was told to us before hand that the hotel was under major renovations. Renovation lasted from 8am to 6pm and water was cut off from 11am to about 3pm. The room had an after smell but it was clean for the most part. Last but not least, I would highly suggest to sage room 407. At 12am and 4am i heard loud knock followed by a dog like animal that ran across the room but no construction was going on at that time and the fast steps was too loud to be a rat/mouse. At first I’m thinking it could have been an animal outside the hotel in the gutters but no it was directly inside the room the second time I heard it. Not sure what it was but Mabe that’s why we found a random Bible stored in the cabinet. Anyways, the stay was ok but could have been better.

Understandably the ongoing renovation work created some confusion moving around and elevator restrictions. It was also disappointing that the TV service did not have an on screen program guide. Hopefully this Drury location will be more “normal “ when the reno work is completed.

Drury Inns are our preferred place to stay, especially for long trips.after 6-8 hours on the road the last thing I want to do is find a restaurant in an area I'm not familiar with. And it's really a bonus to have a beer or wine too.
