Our stay was not great due to several factors: First, we were told they were sold out and didn’t have a room for us when we arrived at 2 AM. The funny thing is, we had called beforehand to let them know we’d be arriving late around 2-3 AM, and they confirmed that the room would be ready by then. We even received an email confirming we had already checked in before we arrived. That’s definitely not what you want to hear when you’re evacuating from Milton and booked the room at least a day in advance. The front desk person said his colleague had called earlier to inform us they were sold out but couldn’t reach us. This is where things got worse because we never received any message, voicemail, or missed call. Thankfully, he was able to check us into one of the spare rooms. As for the parking situation, we weren’t even in a downtown or crowded area, so $12 a night was ridiculous. The front desk even acknowledged that other guests had complained about it before and advised us to email the manager. Also, we were told we would get housekeeping on our third night, but no one ever showed up. Aside from all that, the hotel is in a great location, and at least we had a place to stay while everything in Milton was happening.

Rough for a Hyatt
Well the first room they gave me was 503 and it is very run down. It had a chemical smell that was very strong. Many stains in the carpet. Old, worm out and worst of all the A/C barely worked. It looked like it was veey old and needed cleaning badly. After calling the front desk they eventually changed me to room 122 which was newer and so much better. The A/C worked great in the second room. The staff was not friendly at all to be honest but i made the best of it.

I have stayed at many Hyatt Places around the country, this is the worst. The rooms are cramped, to much future for the little space. The bathrooms are tiny, the showers and toilet are so close together , the shower are extremely tiny. I had to switch to a bathtub ( not much bigger) and two queens from my king. The lady’s I spoke with were both unfriendly and not helpful or informative ( one beginning on her phone). Upon check in nothing was communicated to me I had to specifically ask (breakfast times, location of amenities etc) I asked for a call from the hotel manager but never received one. All around very poor experience will not stay there again.

First, pay parking I don't believe was mentioned when booking this particular property. I've stayed in many hotels in and around this particular hotel and they have NEVER charged extra for parking. Very disappointed. Also, on top of that, they put a hold on your credit card instead of just keeping it on file for accidentals. Their were weird wet spots in the hallways and inside the room that were unknown. There's not an ice machine on every floor. I paid a little extra for the suite at this particular hotel over another hotel in the vicinity and looking back, I would NOT do that again. We got in super late after the ball game and by the time we got settled didn't know that the elevator would cause that much noise throughout the night. Choices for breakfast weren't really what I was expecting out of a place that should be this nice. Overall experience was very disappointing to say the least.

PARKING FEE of $12 a night per car is ridiculous. Nobody reads the parking portion on the booking site. However, when you arrive at hotel the indication to a parking fee is by signs all over the place. Then the afternoon/evening staff informed me that it will be $12 per night. Advised staff that it was unfair to charge for parking, they responded that it was corporate level to make the any changes. Then I asked the morning staff the next day and was informed it was the owner responsibility to make any changes. Now which is it?? The Hyatt up the road does not charge - so why this one? The other reason for a low rating is that the front desk never put in my wake up request causing us to rush in order to leave as planned. Plus the front sliding doors sound like they are going to fall off when opening and closing.
