The good:The apartment is so cute and looked just like the listing pictures. It was thoughtfully decorated with essentials provided for the stay. It was bright, which is impressive for a basement apartment, and mostly clean, though I did notice sticky spots on the kitchen floor upon arrival. The not-so-good:The check-in process was straightforward but required me to request details, which should have been provided proactively. The property was difficult to find and access due to poor visibility of the house number and keypads in the dark. The entrance was challenging and unsafe to navigate because it was down the driveway which is a steep, small hill and the unlevel entranceway because of above-ground roots from a nearby tree. These factors made arrival inconvenient, especially in heels with fallen leaves down the driveway. The biggest issue was a strong chemical-like smell in the apartment that caused headaches and nausea. I believe Michael tried to help the day after my arrival. However, the odor persisted, making it hard to relax and sleep comfortably. I only stayed because my time in the apartment was limited to sleeping and getting ready.Overall, while the property itself has potential, the logistical challenges and odor significantly detracted from my experience.
