Did not like the fact that I called for an earlier checkin and was told I could because rooms were available but it would cost me $25.00 and then told I have to pay for parking in a lot that has plenty of parking. (1) you already don’t get 24 hours because you can’t check in till 3 and have to be out at 12 and you can’t get an early checkin is crazy.

Tru is near the Battery but not in a heavy traffic area. The lobby is great for those you want to chill almost perfect for a chill day date before dinner plans. The staff is always helpful.

I loved our stay at this hotel. They have a nice lobby with plenty of space to relax. We used the pool table. You can also get out and walk outside. They have a nice gas fire pit and a giant tv. I love that the check-out was at noon. They offer very good breakfast (pancakes, eggs, sausage, toast). They also have buckets on every floor for ice. The gym is also very nice! They have an indoor pool. I didn’t like that they charge extra for parking.

The guy that checked us in was amazing. Weve stayed at this Tru several times and was always happy. This time the breakfast staff was not on top of things and really had a no care attitude. The pancake machine wasnt working. Someone looked at it and just walked off. There was still an hour to go. Things were just not what the normally are. They need to get this cleaned up.
