The facade and entrance, as well as the spaciousness of the lobby and marble halls were impressive. The room itself was comfortable and had a lovely view. The amenities afforded enjoyment and relaxation as well.

We reserved a king bed with balcony..none were available..we got a 2 bedroom with a queen on the 30th floor with a great view of the sky tower and city...so it was even...didnt like tbe owners had both closets as lock offs...so nowhere to put clothes...luckily we had the 2nd bedroom for our suitcases...staff were very helpfull...location was great...in all our experience was very good.

The room is like an apartment with great view and everything you need as if you were at home. The kitchen is fully equipped, and there's also a laundry and dryer machine. Perfect for short or longer stays. The building has a big swimming pool, jacuzzi and even a sauna. The gym is also well equipped. The hotel is very well located near plenty of restaurants. Highly recommend it!

It’s the second time our little whanau has stayed at Avani. Gorgeous harbour view and tidy room. Very handy to the CBD and easy to organise parking and a cot. The pool facilities are awesome and staff so kind. We could hear doors shutting and people talking in the hallway and could hear sound down below in the middle of the night even though on the 24th floor. Acknowledging that, we’d absolutely stay here again.

Loved this facility - very posh, yet very affordable. Well equipped for prepping meals, and we really appreciated the in-room clothes washer and dryer, as well as the dishwasher. Bathroom was lovely with incredible water pressure for the shower. Lovely large balcony with and incredible view of the harbour from the 17th floor. Staff were courteous and helpful and the location was great for walking around, shopping and dining - in the heart of the cbd. If I ever get back to Auckland, I will be staying here again!

Rooms vary; some quite tired looking. Large spacious accommodation. The fridge temp was set so it wasn’t chilling. Service team need to pay more attention and make sure things are set correctly.

Avani is a beautiful hotel with a convenient location to enjoy central Auckland. Staff upon check in was quite passive and didn’t seem to want to build any rapport with myself and other guest in order for us to have a welcoming experience after arriving overseas. But I understand it could’ve been a long night as we checked in around 4am. Both exterior and interior of the building itself is very quiet and overlooking clean. But upon inspection in our suite we found a few things as our stay went on such as cockroaches in our bathroom vicinity. Dryer machine had loose screw and wasn’t able to stay active due to door being loose. Myself and guest partner could see handprint marks as if there had been some sexual activity involving lubricants and standing action against the walls which speaks volumes of the cleanliness. Amenities e.g Jug and Toaster had built up dust all around and inside as if they had been stored in the cupboards for quite awhile. I do believe I would stay again with Avani providing they up their standards of cleanliness. Also requested extra washing powder, shampoo and conditioner and staff member who delivered was very welcoming and friendly.
