We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others. We wouldn't recommend the 'Our Land' cocktail bar. Marketed as a cocktail bar but very much a sports bar and didnt feel like you were in the Cordis. Valet parking is convenient but a needs some work when it come to collecting your car, knowing from previous visits it can take 30mins for your car to arrive we called down before we checked out to have our car brought up - it was over an hour and a half before our car arrived which is a lot of waiting around in the lobby. Next time we might order our car then have breakfast.

Parking is a little expensive. Beds were small doubles and not very comfortable. This facility is great for kids. The buffet breakfast is next level and 8 restaurant is brilliant. We spent 4 nights here to treat the kids and they loved every minute. The staff made the children feel very welcome, the entire place is kid friendly. Love the sauna and steam room! Location is handy to the city and public transport.

Stayed on a Labour day weekend so there were lots of people. The pool was packed but everything else was great. Staff had a surprise cake and balloons when we entered the room for my partner’s birthday, which was really nice.

Expedia rewards not recognised, despite having stayed nearly 60 times could not be found in the system. It feels like a hotel cutting costs and is having trouble retaining staff which is impacting the experience. Our jug didn't work, grumpy response on the phone, despite having a club room, no turn down , no water, female attendants walking unannounced into changing rooms at the pool. Do not appreciate two single beds pushed together with the subsequent gap in the middle when booking a king bed. The list on the Expedia website for amenities, services etc is outdated and does not reflect the current reality of a hotel that wants to be 5 star but is geared more as a family hotel

The location was convenient as it's closer to Queen Street and lots of restaurants nearby. Staff were also friendly and accommodating. Great place to stay whether you're on a business trip or holidays with family. Definitely, I'll stay again in this hotel.
