Loved the peace and quiet. It was therapeutic and rejuvenating for my husband and I. We live 15 minutes away and just wanted to get away from home for a bit and this place was definitely home away from home. Highly recommended and will definitely be back.

From booking to arriving to completing our stay everything was easy and really well done. Robert is lovely and greeted us on our arrival and showed us around. The room was well appointed and the bath robes were a nice touch even though we didn't use them. Breakfast was amazing. Opening the curtains to see the goat, chickens and cows was lovely. So nice and really felt welcome. Highly recommend and this will be a place I will try to book again when travelling to Auckland.

This is an outstanding place to stay. Our room was very spacious and extremely clean. Fantastic rural location even though it's only 2 minute's drive from the Interstate. Delicious continental breakfast with a good choice of cereals, bread, yoghurt, juice, fruits, jams, marmalade and savoury spreads. We would loved to have stayed another night, hopefully on our next trip to New Zealand. Thank you Robert.

Beautiful and peaceful
Our stay at Heaven’s Rest was relaxing and comfortable. The cabin was cozy but spacious with everything we needed, including lots of choices for breakfast. Our 3-year-old loved the hammock and visiting the friendly goats and cow. We wished we could stay longer!

Beautiful!
Great little spot about 30mins from Auckland Airport. We just stayed the one night on our way back from Rotorua but would have loved to spend more time here. Sitting on the deck with a glass of wine and talking to the goats was heaven! Bed was super comfy and the suite we stayed in was very spacious. A simple breakfast was provided and ahead all we wanted for an early start. There is some highway traffic noise but still very peaceful in the evening when we got back from dinner.

This was such a stunning and beautiful property - we loved the farm setting, and the cow and goat right outside really added to the peaceful experience!! A bit on the smaller cozier side for the four of us, but still very comfortable overall. The fresh breakfast provided to us - lovely selection of jams, butters, bread, eggs, juice, etc was such a treat.
