The Soho hotel is a beautiful, modern hotel. We were pleasantly surprised by how spacious, clean and modern the rooms were. However, I felt the location was not ideal. Our room overlooked a busy Auckland Street and we could easily see into peoples front yards, this makes it difficult to unwind and relax on the balcony due to limited privacy.

It was our 2nd stay within a few months. Convenient location for the events i travelled to Auckland for. A very pleasant stay.. good to have the gym on site. I wasnt there for the immediate locality, but there is a tasty thai for an alternative to the hotels excellent restaurant within walking distance or some street food.

It's always great staying here. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the hotel is quiet, and there's plenty of street parking. It's close to the motorway with lots of food options nearby if you don't want to dine at the restaurant onsite.

Disappointed. We booked a suite with a balcony, as advertised on the website with photos. When we arrived the room didnt have a balcony, we ended up paying $60 more just so we could have a balcony, the room was also smaller and not a suite size which we wanted. Parking, we paid $25 a night, only to have issues with our spot being taken from people using the restaurant area. Bed was extremely annoying, as they were two single beds pushed together, so they were constantly moving apart through the night. Spa pool we didnt bother to use because of the lack of privacy from other rooms, you can literally see other guests in there room. Breakfast service was slow one plate came out a lot quicker than the other, so we ended up having half cold while waiting for the add ons to our breakfast, and for the price of two people was $81 so was expecting a lot better than that for the price we paid, we ended uber eating all other meals while we stayed. We wanted a luxury stay and this hotel did not give that, looks the part but overall the stay was a disaster, not to mention the party that was happening accross the road upon arrival. I would not recommend and wish we had chose a better facility.
