Great location, staff was friendly, amenities decent. Only issue was the cleanliness of the room itself. The bathroom was spotless, but the living area was a mess. Crumbs and hand prints and coffee grinds all over both counters. It could be just a fluke where someone was distracted and forgot to wipe these areas down, but you cannot miss those areas! They are reflective and show everything.

Great Hotel!
I’m not entirely sure how old the Cambria is, but it feels relatively new, with everything in excellent condition and spotlessly clean. The staff we interacted with were exceptionally friendly and helpful, which added to the positive experience. The only downside was its location near Rainey Street. While we chose this hotel for its proximity to the area, Rainey Street has been largely overtaken by high-rises, leaving only a few of the original bars that still retain their charm. Additionally, there’s a hotel/condo high-rise across the street with a lobby bar that plays loud music late into the night. This might be why the hotel thoughtfully provides earplugs. Overall, this is an excellent hotel, and I’d happily stay at another Cambria if they maintain this level of quality.

We loved everything about this place. It was easy access to my son's place who lives close to UT. We were so tired the second night there, we just had dinner and drinks at the hotel restaurant. It was fancy and nice without making it feel too awkward. (Sometimes too fancy makes me nervous. )

This has got to be the worst stay in Austin we have ever had! Got texts for a week before our stay from the property I thought neat they are going to be great! Negative! Got there checked in got our room and we were placed directly above the pool the music was blaring ALL night I mean 6am it’s still blaring! No one came and cleaned our room even after asking many times. Bring your own water because they don’t provide that or at least not in the room. Overall it was just a terrible experience I would never stay here again! The only plus is how close it is to walking Rainey street!
