I strongly abhor Hampton inn, after my stay this April. I expected so much more from the brand Hampton by Hilton and I was very disappointed and unimpressed by the front desk staff attitude and the service I received.
When you walk into the Hampton Inn, there’s a sign on the wall that reads “Making you happy, makes us happy.”, but that’s obviously lip service only.
My sister and I arrived at Hampton Inn on a Tuesday evening and we were told by this man at the front desk, that our rooms wouldn’t be cleaned Tuesday but instead on Wednesday. The Hampton Inn does housekeeping every other day for their guests.
So Wednesday I left out of my room very early in the morning, to dine in and enjoy breakfast. I noticed the housekeeping staff with their carts, cleaning select rooms. I stayed gone most of the day to ensure there would be plenty of time allotted for my room to be cleaned.
I didn’t return to the room until about 12:30AM the next morning, and my room was not cleaned, no clean towels restocked, very disappointed and dissatisfied with my visit. I also wasn’t asked at the end of my stay, how I enjoyed my visit. It’s clear to me that the Hampton Inn doesn’t care about their guests, I’ve had better quality service at none name brand hotels.
