Seclusion

We are a family of introverts who love nature and quiet. As a native Texan who lived in Austin area until 16 years ago, we found the over development on the other side of the lake a no go. This house was perfect for us. If you are disabled, it is a no go unless you use a cane and are very careful as the deck is not safe. Other than that a few cleanliness issues, we loved it and would recommend if there is a need for seclusion.

A TREAT!

The overall stay was fantastic, we absolutely loved the patio and got full use of the pool. Also, the view cannot fully be captured in photos. If you’re here reading this review, there’s no reason to go any further. The space was enough for the 6 people we had plus there were trundles and could have slept more. We enjoyed the cleanliness of the entire space, we usually go to places and have to clean but not at this spot. Highly recommended, we will be back to this house with a view. Thank you!!

A home away from home

We wanted a relaxing spring break to enjoy with our kids. We found this house, and what convinced us was the pool with that view. This house did not disappoint. The house has a great outdoor space and the neighborhood is very quiet. This house is equipped with what you need to have a great time. Plenty of room inside for everyone and has a great layout for you to enjoy the view from inside the home or outside. My kids enjoyed the pool so much, and we really liked the privacy of this home. We will definitely consider coming back.

Not as advertised

This place needs major maintenance. It looks nothing like the pictures. The grass was overgrown, every lounger by the pool had large holes in them, half of the string lights were out, multiple blinds inside were broken, holes in the bathroom walls. Musty smell when we walked in. Really wished I had brought a candle. I sent pictures to the management company with no response. We had no hot water for the majority of our stay. The plumber finally fixed the issue less than 24 hours before we left. We will definitely never stay here again

Pool with a view

Pool was fantastic, comes with a view! We encountered a few issues and property management was attentive. There is one TV, none in the bedrooms. Some fans need to be replaced in one of the bedrooms, quite noisey but it’s an easy replacement/ investment by owner to be made. Outdoor area needs some love but we would stay here again.

My family tries to get together once a year. It’s all women and we age from 87 to 60. You never know what will happen so while we can we try to do this every year. The house was great and the view was beautiful.

Great stay

The prooerty is nice and the pool is great with a beautiful view. Quiet and safe neighborhood. There are grocery stores nearby and shopping in Cedar Park isn't far. The inside of the home was clean and decorated nicely. The outside was a bit disheveled but could gave partially been due to the rain.I would stay here again.

Beautiful view! Backyard fun!

My husband, my ten-year-old daughter, and I had a great time at this house! The backyard pool and views were fantastic! The house itself is older, but we were comfortable for the five days we spent here. The cleaning could have been better, but I will share that I'm incredibly picky about cleanliness. If you are not, you will be fine here! The driveway into the house is STEEP! The bedrooms do not have TVs in them! All in all, we had a good time. For the cheap price, the house is worth it!

Great view

Loved the house, beautiful view, pool was warm and clean. Saw some foxes and deer right outside the property. Would definitely recommend staying! Only complaint were the showers were hard to control temp, which wasn’t a big deal for us. Thanks for a beautiful week!

Girls Weekend

Four of us girlfriends traveled from WI and SC to have a long weekend together. The accommodations were good, great location, quiet neighborhood. While some things outside could use some attention they did not impact our stay. We all had a wonderful weekend, the check in and check out process was very easy.

Not Exactly As Advertised

While the property was spacious, it lacks any interior updates. Old linens, strange layout of bedrooms, full garbage cans outside, and a pool that was relatively dirty was not up to the expectations of what was pictured. No soap, skimpy shampoo travel bottles (no conditioner), one roll of paper towels, and no napkins?? For what we paid, it would have been nice to not be so cheap when it comes to basic necessities. Having to go to the grocery store just for basic toiletries was not our typical VRBO experience. They did accommodate a mistake in our dates of stay, but it cost an arm and leg for a less than desirable property. Could use some serious updates. Pictures are not an accurate depiction. Beware.

Bait and Switch, unreasonable mgmt co

The outside of the property looks NOTHING like the photos. Dead landscaping, trash in the yard, uneven and unsafe stairs and the outside of the house and pool is in state of general disrepair. THE POOL WAS COMPLETELY CLOUDED, DIRTY AND UNUSABLE. Mgmt said ‘oh, it’s just pollen’. No way, this pool hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. When the pool service showed up on day 2, the chlorine was through the roof and the PH was out of whack which is actually a health hazard for anyone to use in that state. He also asked us (as guests) to keep an eye on the pool pump and climb down and turn it on if we saw it turn off. What??? The pool service and mgmt co said the pool was unusable. I asked for a partial refund since this property was advertised as a house with a pool. I was flat out denied and shut down. She said I could leave and she would refund me for the days I left. Are you serious? After paying the VRBO booking fees and maid service? Find a hotel at the last minute or pack our things and food and drive 3.5 hours back home??? I always check the reviews before I book so I hope someone reads this and books somewhere with a more caring and reliable mgmt co.

Spare bathroom toilet the float stick to flush toilet Also we apologize one of the small wine glasses was used and was on top of glass table. Girl friend got cold took her blanket and set down in one of the chairs her blanket touched the glass and it tipped over it was empty and fell on top ofvthe glass table and cracked. We left money to replace the glass. We apologize everything was great

We made unforgettable family memories at this beautiful property. We felt so relaxed and everything was so well put together. The pool. The lake. The views of the sky. The easy flow of the home. Our guests who joined us all agree it was all perfect. Thank You for allowing us to rent it. We will never forget this moment.
