Not easy to get in and out of due to the busy feeder roads; side streets rough surfaces; $5 per night parking (really?!); no restaurants conveniently nearby (walking distance); getting in and out of parking mildly hazardous (area drivers not very courteous on average).

There was some naked guy in my room
I checked in, went to my room, opened the door, only to find that somebody else was already in my room. I asked him how long he had been in the room, and he said that he had checked in two hours prior. THEY GAVE AWAY MY ROOM, and I had to find out about it by opening the door on some naked guy. They gave me a substandard room as a replacement, and eventually found another room like the first, but this was total incompetence in running a hotel.

nice staff but never again
I booked a room with a king bed, what I received was a double, I was so tired i just crashed and decided to deal with it until the following day staff was good to me and switched my room. they need to do something about the roaches there was a roach larger than my first born child in the bathroom. also apparently every hotel charges for parking in Austin? or I was just being gaslit so I would not complain about the parking fee...?

Room was clean, bed and ac were comfortable. Kitchenette area is a bit dated and pretty sparsely equipped, but we didnt need much. Immediately outside the hotel is a little sketch but there are plenty of cool places very close by and you can get to downtown in 10 minutes without paying downtown prices. Absolutely would stay here again. Staff was very pleasant was well

Such a convenient hotel to stay 10min from Downtown Austin. Friendly staff, well lit and safe. Rooms were nicely remodeled and comfortable. A great option for the price.
