The hotel with the best vibe and people!!
One thing that is absolutely outstanding and makes the entire stay one of my favourite hotels I’ve been too, is the people!!! The staff go above and beyond, no request is too big and they couldn’t do more for you! If their aim is to make you feel welcome, special and really at home then well they are excelling!!! The hotel has a lovely vibe and charm to it, yes it’s older in places but it’s got a charm to it!! Ditch the modern chain hotels where no one knows your name or cares and come here, to feel truly relaxed and switch off from the busy lifestyle we all lead these days!! Being self employed it’s hard to switch off, but here I always manage to switch off…it’s got that vibe!! The food is very clean and fresh and prepared for with care! They cover gluten free too!! 5 stars!!! And all the stars for the staff!!

We arrived in the afternoon and the check in helper decided we needed to do self check in rather than doing it for us. The process was slow. We got to our room and asked to be changed due to it being dirty. We then got to the new room and it was still dirty. We cleaned it a bit so we felt more comfortable. We asked to cut our stay short and for a refund which was refused. We then cut our stay short without a refund. I hope the hotel will modernise and hire more cleaners!

You will be looked after!
Very friendly staff who clearly work hard to ensure guests have a great stay. We stayed for several nights as working nearby. Breakfast was excellent. Evening meal selections not huge but we enjoyed what we had when we did eat in. Dated rooms but clean and comfortable. Recommended

Great stay, super friendly staff. Food is fabulous, bar area is nice. Our standard room was on the small side and in need of modernisation, however I understand times are hard and this is costly and there is alot of competition out there. Still would return here though. Would recommend.

Not quite as described, issues for disabled people as blue badge parking is the furthest from the entrance and the 2 bays are not monitored. Room was ok (same as a travelodge) but to have a maid service was quoted at £25 though we were not charged, perhaps because we didn’t ask for the service and they forgot the towels anyway.
