Not your regular hotel of the area. {"cabanas") New, tower like. The food is really good ! We encountered a situation that was handled as best possible. Good location but overpriced. Big size rooms.

This is one of the nicest small hotels we haved stayed at. The swimming in the lagoon was spectacular. The pool was refreshing. The food was very good. The staff throughout the whole hotel was excellent. There is a coffee maker in the room BUT they charge for the coffee pods. The only thing I would request is that the coffee is included in the price of the room. If you are looking for the best hotel on Lake Bacalar, look no further.

Christino Lagoon hotel is a wonderful hotel on an amazingly beautiful Lagoona. Netsed in tropicla vegetation the hotel provides a relaxed superior accomodation. It is a 30 min walk from town but I loved the secultion. The restaurant on site serves delicious food . it is a bit expansive but again the view while you eat is special. The staff is very sweet friendly and extremely accomodating. I must come back!

Great find in Bacalar

Beautiful new (one year old) hotel. Many other waterfront hotels are not aging well. Well maintained. Helpful friendly staff. Room service by request or towel renewal only by request. Excellent AC but need to request day/night changes. Lots of lounges around two pools and docks over water. Good restaurant but music was very loud for dinner ambience. 30 minute walk or inexpensive taxi to town center. SUGGESTION: need a water refill unit (at reception) to reduce plastic bottle usage.

A wonderful slice of paradise

This hotel is absolutely amazing. Peaceful, wonderful service, and dock access to the lake with comfortable chairs. The restaurant was wonderful and all the staff were lovely. Bonus is that the hotel lets your borrow kayaks and paddle boards!

We had a nice experience at the hotel. The views are fantastic and there were activities available. Any issues were dealt with professionally. The only issue, and its one to keep in mind, is during high season the lagoon is closed every Wednesday. The only activity allowed is swimming so no kayaks, SUP's or boat tours. This fact was not communicated by hotel staff so it forced us to stay an extra night at more cost.

Very nice property, we enjoyed the pool and the lagoon, compared to other places we visited, the lagoon area in front of the hotel was clean with crystal clear water. The staff was super friendly and professional! One thing we absolutely did not like is that you have no control over the AC, you need to call the staff to operate it and that was quite annoying, hopefully they will find a better way to do this, at least access to turn on/off would have nice.

Exceotional Stay

Our stay at Cristalino Lagon Hotel was a very enjoyable experience. The Hotel Staff was amazing and got what ever we wanted immediately. The resturant was exceptional both in quality and service. The cleanliness in the rooms, the grounds, and property excelled. We were left believing people here really care about their guests.

I was amazed by the comfort, cleanliness and upscale feel to the rooms, the quality of the food from the restaurant and the tranquility of the Lake and the surrounding environment. You will need a car to get to the center but only a 5 minute drive away. The staff were very friendly and helpful.I would definitely reccomend a stay here.
