I’m not sure why this property isn’t more highly rated. The hotel is in a gorgeous beaux Art building, the accommodations spacious and the staff very helpful. Yes, the carpet in my room had one hole and was slightly faded but those were small defects in an otherwise perfect hotel.

not what I expected from the kimpton brand
We arrived and was told by the valet they could not park our vehicle (standard F150), so we had to park elsewhere. we also had prepaid for the valet parking. The restaurant was overwhelmed, no room service. We were given the option to have breakfast comped, but had to leave before breakfast was served. Will never return.

I personally would not stay here again. It’s not really around anything. The restaurant opens at odd hours. There are no trash cans in the room. No place to get food or water after hours. The stopper was really hard to get out of my tub. Should have been a way to make that easier. Bed was comfy though.
