My college age son and I came in for the raven vs redskins game. Great location…close to the inner harbor…great restaurants within walking distance….safe and clean area. The parking is $$$$…$36 self park in connected parking deck….cheaper to park across the street.

Hotel was modern, clean, and quiet. The area its in had plenty to do and restaurants to eat at. Its right across the street from the national aquarium and the harbor. I really enjoyed my stay.

The hardest part was getting an Uber to know where you were based on the address. Making sure the address is updated in all transportation apps is critical for guests. The parking process was hard to understand.

The elevators situation was terrible. I understand that there were many guests staying in the hotel but there are 4 elevators and often, there were only one or two elevators running. The hotel was PACKED for multiple concerts and events, so it’s unacceptable to not be running as many elevators as possible. The front desk staff was also not very friendly, and I really try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt. I understand they were super busy but the rudeness and lack of attentiveness was obvious.

Great hotel and friendly staff. Parking was easy. We were greeted by popcorn and lemonade upon our arrival. Fast check-in. Amazing location. Walkable to restaurants, shops and the pier. Beautiful view of the harbor. The only downside was only 2 of the elevators were working so there was always a group of people waiting. We decided to take the stairs. I would definitely stay again.

The beds were extremely comfortable. Unfortunately , two elevators out of 4 were out of order. There were long waits to go up to our rooms and come down to the lobby. Eventually, many of us rode up, just to have a space in the elevator to go back to the lobby.

The beds and bedding were amazing! Our room overlooked what appeared to be a vacant mall or convention center, which was creepy. (There were stopped escalators, empty fountains etc.) The majority of the elevators were not working, leaving one to take all guests and visitors up to guest and special event rooms. This led to significant and frustrating delays for all.

Two of the four elevators that are designated for the guest floors (two addl for the parking garage only) were out of service on a weekend whenthe hotel was at full capacity because of a large concert at CFG Arena and several events at the hotel including weddings. Guests were waiting 15 minutes for an elevator only for it to arrive full. The bathroom door could not shut, the toilet took several tries to flush and after 2 minutes in the shower, the tub water was at your ankles because it didn’t drain.

The Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel is in a prime location for a great weekend in Baltimore. From quick eats to sit down restaurants, entertainment, convenience stores, and easy parking, it can't get more convenient than this. Although we only stayed for one night during a weekend, we found the staff helpful from check-in to check-out. The hotel atmosphere was alive and gave positive energy. Our room was clean and spacious and we look forward to spending a longer weekend at this property in the future.
