Our room was really big with a huge bathroom. Thick curtains, cosy duvet, warm fluffy towels and plush loo paper. What more could anyone want?? Restaurant was nicely decorated. Food was great. My husband said it was the best steak he's ever had. They also sent out a dish with Happy Anniversary written on it with macaroons and strawberries. Such a lovely gesture.
Apart from the shower part being broken & a dirty towel being left in the room it’s a lovely hotel lovely staff - although when having meal staff kept getting things wrong, ie we were asked 3 times if we wanted dessert! It did not spoil our time, food was amazing as was decor, would def come back

Excellent room, all necessary facilities, serviced daily.
All staff very friendly and available.
Food menus good, specials choice daily.
Giant suite with big windows and lots of sun. Plenty of comfortable common areas and walks on property. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. The staff was very helpful.
Our second stay here and really good. Very nice big room overlooking the trees and grounds at the front of the hotel.We had a drink in the gardens as such a hot evening which was very nice with lots of tables and soft furnishings. We didn't eat in the restaurant but did have breakfast which was very nice. Staff very nice and friendly.Thank you
Nothing short of a Fawlty Towers. The hotel needs major money spent on it to bring it up to a decent standard. They are basically trying to operate on the cheap with many untrained staff, but at the same time charging prices on accommodation, food and drink at really high prices.
I have stayed in many hotels in my time and I would rank this one as one of the worst hotels that I have had the unpleasant experience to stay in. Don’t go near it.
An excellent welcome at reception on arrival, beautiful building. Our room was spacious and at the top front of the building so had a lovely view. Yes, the paintwork is in need of a freshen up in some areas but couldnt fault the cleanliness. The staff were very professional and helpful. The diining room, bar and lounge areas had been more recently decorated. Food was excellent but not cheap. The large garden was ideal to sit with a drink during the warm weather Location to town centre was great. I would definitely stay here again.
Out 2nd stay at the hotel, we returned as our first visit was excellent, however, they have now changed the breakfast service from a cooked to order, to a buffet, which we feel let down the quality of service.
This was a beautiful property with attentive and hospitable staff. The restaurant dinner food was delicious (breakfast was just okay). Staff also went out of their way to wash a load of clothes for us and only charged a minimal fee.
The hotel is nice and reasonably well maintained. I found the decor a bit dated for my taste. I ate dinner one night and it was very nice. Breakfast was decent. All the hotel staff were excellent.
