We booked through Expedia. A room with street side view. When we got there they had us looking at the back alley. Then when I inquired they said the street side was an upgrade. It was not, according to Expedia. Very disappointed on how this was handled. We also had to ask for the bottle of wine that was supposed to come with the room. In the future I will not trust this property.

Went to check in to the property and was told since it was our anniversary that they would “upgrade” us to their sister property. It wasn’t an upgrade. It’s an older hotel and it was a recently renovated room. They stated the upgrade would include a balcony with a view. The view was the street. Overall just very unhappy how it was presented. If they had told us they overbooked the hotel and asked us to move we would have but don’t sell it as an upgrade when it’s not.

This hotel is rated highly in many social media posts. No doubt its location and updates are very good However, the price of the stay was excessive compared to other hotels. This hotel was at least double to cost of other hotels which offer comparable amenities and often include breakfast. Would not choose to stay here again.
