Liked the staff, very friendly & eager to help. Kitchenettes were stocked well. Our two units/rooms were hot. We turned the thermostat off & had to open the window. (It was -2 outside) That helped make it more comfortable. Didn’t use hot tub or pool. The free Roam bus to downtown Banff is awesome as parking can be difficult to find.

Me and my family of 3 stayed at TMR for my birthday trip to Banff this year. The front desk staff was extremely polite and helpful. I will mention however that the lobby did smell quite strong. I’m not sure if it was the pool attached to it or what, but it wasn’t very pleasant. We didn’t use pool or the gym but they were easily accessible and fairly close to our room. The room itself was decent with a full kitchen (with plates,cups, utensils, stainless steel cookware, dish washing items etc) and separate bedroom as well as a balcony area. The dishwasher did have an odour but we didn’t use it anyways just loaded it at the end. The only thing I could complain about was the HEAT. holllyyyy did it ever get hot at night. Never thought I would complain about a room being too hot, in the mountains during winter but MY GOD it was like being in a non air conditioned room MID SUMMER. A fan was provided but it didn’t help. The rooms each had wood burning fireplaces so that could have been why? Overall it’s nice for the value

Great location just outside town. Bus stop right outside and journey about 5-7 mins into Banff. Also walkable. Bus tickets include in your stay Lovely staff on front desk Accommodation a bit tired but great for what we needed. Would use again

Wasn't expecting a basement room but it was really a pleasant surprise. It was well lit, comfortable and had a lot of great amenities. Love that there is a fridge and countertop hotplate.

The property is about 2km outside of Banff. It is in a very wooded area,so nice and green, but our room was very close to the main road where there was a little traffic, but very busy with people walking by day and night. There is no shopping nearby but the hotel does provide free bus passes to town for your stay. We found that the rooms are much darker than they look on the hotel posting. The heater/AC seemed to blow hot and then cold all day and night. Other than that,the staff was friendly and helpful.

We really enjoyed our time at Tunnel Mountain it was perfect for us. As nature lovers we loved the location on the edge of town with lots of trails to explore and wildlife to see (lots of Mule Deer!) A complimentary 'Roam' bus pass was included and with the bus stop right out side the resort it was super easy and convient to get around. We didn't have a car but arranging tours and airport shuttles wasn't a problem as many of them pick up and drop off at the resort, or from the hotel across the road. Our accomodation was warm, cosy and inviting (even though it was -26 some mornings!) and we loved having the open fire that was a big highlight of our stay as well as having a view of the snowy mountain landscape from our window. Our kitchen had almost everything we needed (apart from a baking tray for the oven?) and really liked the local products - Rocky Mountain Soap Co was a nice little luxury. Thank you to the staff who were so attentive and welcoming, looking after us during the duration of our stay. When we had a question or an issue they were very quick to resolve it and allowing us to check in early and look after our luggage on our final day, until the airport shuttle picked us up later that evening. Really hope to stay again!

It’s not really a hotel. It’s a time share. The resort fee was more than advertised on Expedia which I found annoying. The check in girl was very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again only if nothing else was available.
