Rock hard beds and overpriced airport transfer
Don’t book the airport pick up arranged by the apartments for 58 Euros each way. We waited for our driver before calling to let them know that nobody was there to meet us and were told to wait. The airport was quiet and taxis were waiting so we caught one for only 30 Euros! We caught an Uber back to the airport for the same. We weren’t excited to pay almost double to wait. We were happy to pay for the convenience, but trying to locate the driver was not. The gentleman who checked us in gave us a hard time about not waiting. It was not the best start to our trip. Otherwise the staff were helpful and friendly. Overall we give the property three stars, mostly for its central location but the furniture including beds were very uncomfortable. We like firm mattresses but had to lay blankets down because they were so rock hard. We are traveling around Europe for three months moving every week and have not experienced issues with the beds or uncomfortable furnishings anywhere else. Everything looks comfortable but unfortunately it is not. The shower also didn’t drain quickly so we were always standing in a pool of water which was unpleasant but the very nice maintenance man said the pipes are just old. The daily cleaning staff do a wonderful job. Overall we thought the apartment was fine but we would not go back. We’re surprised by the number of rave reviews and wish that others had been more detailed with theirs e.g. explain that they love rock hard beds lol.

Casp74 is an excellent apartment complex with friendly 24-hour customer service and very comfortable beds. It’s a great choice for families of three or more. The location is also ideal, close to the main tourist attractions in Barcelona.

Great apartment that was clean. Basic kitchen facilities but absolutely fine for a short stay as there were lots of eateries nearby. Having a washing machine was fantastic. There was an iron but no ironing board (minor complaint in what was otherwise a great stay).

What a great property in the center of Barcelona! Within walking distance to so much! Staff set up transportation from the airport and a few days later to our cruise ship… a great convenience when there was 4 of us with 8 pieces of luggage! They recommended wonderful restaurants all within a few blocks. Highly recommend, we would definitely stay here again on a return trip to Barcelona!

The apartments are managed by a proper rental company, hence you have all the amenities and space of an apartment plus assistance in cleaning, maintenance and reception. Great location and safe environment.
