Good location, quiet but close walk to waterfront and downtown. Staff was friendly and helpful. Noticed some noisy construction in the building at times, and thin walls. Baggage storage and cafe downstairs were great.

Overall a very good hotel. The best bits are it’s close to La Rambla (about 10 mins) and the main areas of Barcelona. The room itself is immaculately clean with a great shower and nice bathroom. The room is modern and a reasonable size. As well as this, the dining area is really nice in the basement with a fab breakfast with lots of selection. There is a bar here as well which was quiet when I visited in October. The rooftop is really very nice too with a bar and small pool with chairs and sun loungers. The hotel staff are outstanding by the way! How might it be better? I’d have liked a fridge and some coffee making facilities in the room. Plus some shelves in the bathroom to keep my man stuff on. The view out the back of the hotel isn’t the prettiest looking onto the backs of local houses and accomodation but this is central Barcelona. The view didn’t bother me because I thought it had character. I’d definitely go back to Casa Lit.

Room 111 was small but adequate for 2 adults child. Floor 1 is like a mezzanine level just above the reception / lobby, so you do hear noise from guests coming in and out. The property and room looks modern and is in great condition. However, it did smell like it was mopped with stagnant water bleach but perhaps this is because there isn't much ventilation unless you have the A/C on (which requires a keycard). The shower/bathroom area is just curtained off from the sleeping area. The basin is tiny so you can't help splashing water onto the floor. There are no tea-making facilities in the room, you have to pay €2 to make your own in the lobby. Overall, it was good and I'd stay again as it is just off the Ramblas.

I liked that the hotel was really close to the metro/bus stations and you could easily walk to some of the popular tourist attractions. They also gave me luggage tags as a gift when checking out.

The room was small but clean with a great shower. No view from the large window. The breakfast buffet was small but adequate and of good quality. They even had red, white, and sparkling wine on ice. To us the location was good, with a ten minute walk to ramblas and statue of Columbus which is a good starting point to explore Barcelona. Hundreds of restaurants within 15 or 20 minute walk including the great dining along the harbour. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. Also the rooftop bar was nice addition with free live music one night of our stay. You have to remember this is very busy Barcelona and hotel rooms are expensive and in short supply so this hotel at this location close to the metro is as good as it gets.

The hotel itself was gorgeous, clean facilities and really convenient location for city attractions and beach! The area had lots of homeless and lots of men loitering at all houses and as we were travelling as two ladies it felt a little unnerving.
