We loved this place! I know hotels can be deceiving, but I’m telling you this place is great! Clean cute free coffee in the morning. I read reviews about people complaining it being very loud , thin walls… which it definitely was a little loud in the neighborhood at times but anywhere I’ve ever stayed in a city is loud. It’s a busy city. People are up late. There’s families and locals living nearby living their lives. I don’t know what people expect about that. We’re from LA and thought the experience perfect. Friendly staff super helpful. The area was a lot more chill than staying in the more touristy areas like La Rambla and amazing coffee shops, and breakfast places in the area . couldn’t recommend enough.

We stayed for one night. Property appears classy and on the sophisticated side with minor aesthetic touch ups needed. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom has a great size with toiletries. Room size was big compared to other hotels. Breakfast staff were accommodating. Breakfast buffet spread was delightful, definitely worth the €12 price. Facilities of the room appear stylish, several scratches etc but overall still in good condition. AC works perfectly. Good sound proofing in general. There was a jug of free cold lemon infused water and hot tea (I think it is) at reception. The letdowns were the ff: - a small leak/puddle from one of the bathroom walls, clean water leak, to be specific, - reception did not answer when I tried to inform them about the above leak around 11pm at night so not sure if there was indeed someone at reception desk, - since the AC worked superbly well, you would expect a back up bed spread/bed linen to use when you do get cold at night. There were only a thin white sheet as blanket. I prefer that it was cold anyway but it would have been nice to have the option of a spare blanket/bed sheet. There was a duvet on top storage inside the room but without a cover. - the check in process was slow. There were two of them and there was only one family/group ahead of us but it took 20 mins maybe before we got seen. - personally, location is a bit far from of the tourist attractions, ranging from 20 mins - 50mins away by public transport.

The only negative thing is how the shower wall isnt doing its job of keeping the water from going everwhere. Other than that, we loved our room, the bed really confortable and spacious.

Nice room, shame about the cigarette smoke smell
The hotel itself and the room looked lovely, just like on the photos, the bed was comfortable, and the location is excellent. However when we walked into the room, the smell of cigarette smoke was overwhelming, and made the whole stay a lot less enjoyable, because it didn't go away fully even after hours of trying to air it out with fully open windows..

I was happy with the customer service but I was caught off guard when I was billed 250 on my Reservation. Compared the rate listed for the same days . I am not one to make a stink or complain but hit when an offer to upgrade or maybe a breakfast . Well it’s how just came to for wishing. Room was nice but bed truly uncomfortable it sank in various places and did not help my back . A little dark and maid missed the upper. Shelves so there was a little dust . In all I have been to several places in Barcelona this hotel is located in a quiet area and walkable . Maybe they will have a better response for me or I will just wait to pay at the moment of check in . Best regards Mr Sepe

The staff was very friendly and offered to hold our luggage at the hotel when we arrived before check-in. Had a really nice breakfast buffet in the morning. There was only two things we didn’t like. In one of our rooms there was a really bad leak from the room above and another thing is you were able to hear everything.

The hotel offers a serene atmosphere and a friendly, professional staff. It was very conveniently located for our exploration of Montjuïc. We found it to be a great value for the price. In addition, their breakfast buffet looks exceptional. We had other plans for breakfast, but if a traveler were so inclined, they couldn’t ask for a better spread.

The property had a quaint, unique feel to it. Nice and comfortable decor - a little darker but made it seemed cozy. The bathroom and room was typical European and smaller. With a King size bed not much room for for walking around and lay your luggage. The amenties were very inviting, friendly and upscale. The area immediately around it was a little daunting walking alone at night, but it’s a short 5-minute walk to a busy plaza and major road with a direct line to the Gothic Quarter which is full of dining, shopping well i to the night.
