The property is very well located in the centre of Bath. My room was very comfortable and had everything I needed. Breakfast was cooked to order and was very good. Would definitely stay again.

The hostess, Christina, was very accommodating, allowing me to drop off my bag early in the day. Her breakfast was fabulous - delicious and plentiful. I noticed that when a new guest arrived during the breakfast hour, she invited him to enjoy coffee/tea or eat something, as if he had already stayed the night. The stairs to the 3rd floor are narrow and turning, so they are not for anyone who has difficulty with stairs. My small room did not have an ensuite bath; I had to leave my room, walk a short distance down the hall to the bath, unlock the door and relock it after use. That can be an issue for someone who needs to frequent the toilet several times during the night. The hallways are well lighted, and an electric heater is provided in the room's closet in case the room is cold or the house's central heating has not yet been turned on.

We stayed at this property due to its proximity to the train station and local attractions. We did not meet any staff until the morning of our departure. The WiFi signal in the room was very weak; our phones frequently disconnected and had to be manually reconnected. The room was on a busy street and we heard loud noises and people on the street talking and occasionally yelling until 2-3 AM. We stayed in Room 4, which is accessed by a narrow staircase from the small entry foyer. This room had an uneven creaky floor in the bedroom and bathroom. The sink in the bathroom is very small, no light above the sink mirror, inadequate shelf space for personal items, and no Kleenex or shampoo. The included breakfast was available beginning at 8 AM, which seemed late to us and did not fit with our schedule. Unfortunately, we did not have a restful stay.

The hotel wasn’t like what I had expected , the photos made rooms look bigger and much brighter and cleaner. There was a leak on the second floor with a bucket and a wet patch on carpet, also stains on the ceiling. The decorating wasn’t to a high standard, light switches hadn’t been removed when painted around. The bathroom door looked discoloured, there were stains on the bedding, also do not feel that rooms where cleaned throughly or hoovered properly. The bed kept moving everytime you went to sit or lean against it. The blind was broken in our room and was mouldy.

One of the best breakfasts ever. The quality and freshness was excellent. The whole hotel was run by Christina who was very pleasant and efficient. The only drawback was the extremely small room on the third floor. Difficult to navigate with a suitcase.

We only stayed one night at The Henry but would definitely stay again! Welcoming host, easy check-in, nearby parking, walking distance to everything, breakfast included, very comfortable and spacious room. The only downside might be the stairs if anyone has mobility issues. Thanks for a lovely stay!
