Wonderful Hotel in the heart of downtown BTR!
We absolutely loved this hotel! The staff was great, the rooms are clean and decorated tastefully, the food is amazing and the location was perfect for us to walk around town! Highly recommend! We will actually be heading back in a few days and can’t wait to be back!

Disappointing hotel experience
I am a platinum member with VIP access and perks. When I make a reservation, I use the VIP access filter for hotels that recognize this status—and did so in deciding on this hotel. When I checked in, I asked about an upgrade and was told it would cost me $250–more than twice what I was already paying. I told the clerk my status and she called a manager who said that free upgrades were only for Wyndham members. The room on the surface looked comfortable enough but we found trash behind the chair, a dirty coverlet (looked like paw prints) and black pubic hair on the toilet seat (neither of us have black hair). When reported, there wasn’t even an apology.

Better Options for the Price
Check in was extremely difficult. Staff was friendly, but not helpful. It took us over an hour to check in because they could not find our reservation. The sheets were pilling. I know it is a hotel and hundreds of people have stayed in the sheets, but I do have an expectation for them to feel clean and nice. Chipping all over the walls. Bathtub had orange stains. Remote had crust. I had really high expectations of this place and was severely disappointed.

My stay was okay for the most part! Housekeeping was knocking on my door at 9 am and checkout wasn’t until 11! When I answered she said she would come back later…she came back at 10:45 and instead of knocking she just let herself in. I was undressed so I’m beyond upset.

Stayed at hotel from 12/5/24 -12/8/24 myself and friend from time we had arrived valet parking was courteous had end and out service included late night, room was nice clean bed nice and bathroom no microwave but everything was nice. We had ask front desk and valet for restaurant suggestions we had visited one was very satisfied did thank front desk clerk. I do plan on returning would prefer staying at Orgin hotel than New Orleans take the hour drive well worth.

The stay was great. The suite we stayed in was beautiful. We loved how spacious and nicely decorated it was. The restaurant unfortunately was not good but the bartender that waited on us was beyond sweet. The staff at both check in and leaving were not friendly and said little to us. Overall the hotel and the bartender was fantastic but the rest of the staff and the restaurant need work.

Solid choice for fun and location.
Way closer in than I thought. Easy walk to downtown sights. Nice place and fun vibe. 33 bucks is a bit high for valet but it was worth it overall.
