Beautiful setting let down by musty room
Really beautiful setting with great decor and gardens. Pleasant staff. Unfortunately this was all offset by the room - it was awful. Bedegul is a very rainy place and this was evident by the musty smell of damp in the room. And the bedclothes reeked - I dreaded lying in them. With a bit of effort in this department the hotel has the potential to be really good.

Fin bungalow med fina möbler I Indonesiens största botaniska trädgård med fantastisk utsikt över Baratansjön. Men ack, den var placerad i ytterkanten av området nära den tungt trafikerade genomfartsvägen och rummet var besprutat med något slags insektsmedel - så vi kände oss mer eller mindre förgiftade efter att ha sovit en natt där. Väl värt att besöka den botaniska trädgården och hotellrestaurangen helt ok. Där saknades dock helt information om ortens berömda tempel och den märkvärdiga trädgården.

Rum via hotels.com ligger långt från reception, mot vägen. Ingen uteplats vilket annars är en självklarhet i Indonesien.

Сам отель интересный, красивый вид на озеро из ресторана, вечером в горах прохладно и в ресторане живой огонь, приветственный напиток порадовал, на завтрак не успевали из-за раннего отъезда, но договорились с вечера и утром нам предложили кофе и тосты с маслом и вкусным клубничным джемом(свежая перетертая клубника). Территория отеля очень большая, много разных домиков, есть обычные, есть почти дворцы с резьбой, статуями, цветами, красивый сад, хотя не очень ухоженный. Стандартный номер очень простой, слишком темный, и вместо окон только ставни, открывать холодно, из искусственного освещения одна тусклая лампочка, поэтому очень темно, вроде бы чисто. Ванная комната - это кафельный пол, лейка с нагревателем и унитаз, мойки нет, есть в углу подобие поддона, обшитого кафелем с холодной водой и слив тоже на пол, дискомфортно, но переночевать можно. Есть просторная, красивая общая комната отдыха и большая терраса - цветы, мебель из натурального дерева, кресла, диваны, все на несколько номеров, хотя народа нет. Персонал внимательный.

Lorsque je suis arrivé à l'hôtel et qu'on m'a présenté la chambre "standard" et la salle de bain j'ai cru à une blague. Payer ce prix là pour quelque chose comme ça, j'y croyais pas. Les draps et les taies d'oreillers étaient tachés et sales, pas de vitres aux fenêtres, une salle de bain où on ne peut ni se doucher ni se laver les dents. Après une première nuit où j'ai dormi 2h, car il y avait une fête non loin de l'hôtel et que j'avais l'impression qu'il y avait une fête dans ma chambre vu qu'il n'y avait pas de vitres. et pour le propriétaire la situation était normal, l'hôtel est un nouveau concept, etc... En dehors de ça, après 45 min de négociation j'ai pu avoir un bungalow pour la seconde nuit. Les bungalows sont supers et le jardin de l'hôtel aussi

Notre 1ère nuit en chambre standard fut désagréable... extrêmement bruyante à cause de la proximité de la route et de la mosquée et surtout par manque de fenêtres. En plus nous avons eu froid. Nous n avons presque pas dormi. A déconseiller... Contre paiement nous sommes donc passé à un bungalow pour la 2eme nuit. Celui-ci était un peu plus confort mais ne valait pas la différence de prix. On peut trouver mieux pour moins cher.
