You standard highway motel
Nothing fancy about this place. Inexpensive and what you would expect for a motel just off the Interstate. If road noise is an issue for you, you may want to look elsewhere as the door to your room is fewer than 500 feet from the Interstate and you can hear all the large trucks driving by.

Although they tried to upgrade some room fixtures, the bathroom door didn’t have a latch of any kind, there was dirt on the floor and yelllow gunk on the bathroom door. No toilet paper roller, my lamp was broken, and the sink didn’t have a drain stopper. While checking in online the app said a suite was available for an additional $10 but when checking in the desk associate said the motel had no suites onsite. Baymont Suites used to be very nice stays when I see them In Michigan.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY AT THIS SKETCH HOTEL!!
This is by far the worst place I've ever stayed in my life. The room smelled. Dirty handprints on the doors and switches. The AC unit sounded like someone was dumping a cooler full of ice every 3-4 minutes. There were alot of construction workers staying here and many slept in their cars or trucks which creeped me out when my dog needed to go outside so my husband did it every time. There is also no coffee makers. The blow dryer plug was broke, and had to go to the front desk to get a TV remote because there wasnt one. The only positive thing i have to say is that the woman who checked us in was friendly. Id never stay at this place again! I'd sooner sleep in my car.

The bed is on a metal platform that makes horrible noise anytime you move. The fixtures in the room are all worn and nasty. But I guess for the price what did I expect?. The worst - we were in the back and there was an OBVIOUS drug deal happening by 3 young men who pulled up, made the exchange and left. Could happen anywhere I guess. Stay on the front side if you are staying here! Positive - staff was very friendly.

There’s no place like home❤️
I know leaving a review is a waste of time but here we go. Starting with the positives, the beds were fairly comfortable. Now the negatives. Things in the room were broken, the tub wouldn’t drain, the water was brown when you first turned it on, not enough towels for everyone to have one. We ran out of toilet paper, we had a large group, two rooms, we went to the front desk to ask for more towels, had to sign a paper that we received extra and then were told, “if you need anything else let us know but not toilet paper or towels, we don’t have any more.” I had to buy towels at a local store. Our rooms did not get cleaned, we took out some of the trash ourselves. As a former employee of a large hotel chain, I know what is required to clean and properly supply a room. The guests comfort and satisfaction are supposed to be the main priority. We ended up leaving a day early, even though our rooms were already paid for, so we lost even more on a crappy hotel stay. It was not a good experience and I will never go back👎👎👎

The rooms need cleaning. First room we got the air conditioner didn’t work. Switched rooms. Bugs,spiders and dirt on the floor. Room smells musty. Tv remote takes forever to change channels. Towels smelled clean but were stained.

We had to switch rooms as the sheets in the first room had stains of some kind, visible dirt on the floors, baseboards coming off, door knobs dented and banged up. The staff made every effort to help accommodate and were very friendly. Shocked that Wyndham would own a property like that.

Really good hotel
The location, cleanliness, and all day coffee, tea, and hot chocolate was excellent. The beds, bedding, and pillows were extremely comfortable. Most of the staff was very friendly and helpful. Things that were disappointing were only 1 chair in a room that sleeps 4. I stayed 6 nights and the hot breakfast was the same most mornings. There were no shower chairs available.
