Based on prior reviews, (after I had booked), I was skeptical that the property would be what we wanted. However, I find the older reviews to be completely inaccurate and should be deleted. The property was clean and neat. The staff were all friendly, (as everyone we encountered in Belize are), and accommodating.

I am aware this property is old. But it is clear that the owner has not invested any money into the maintenance of this property. I was embarrassed for Wyndham. I was embarrassed for my family.

After reading some of the older reviews I was skeptical that this would be an ideal place to stay. However, none of those reviews held up. The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

It has an amazing view until you go around the property and see some building issues. But the staff was nice (except for one waitress). But I wouldn’t mind staying there again.

Our stay was overall ok. The hotel facility is a little run down and in need of a facelift. The most annoying feature of the stay was the hotels strict enforcement of the check-in time which was not until 3pm as well as having to vacate the room by 10am the next day. The hotel was virtually empty as we were here at the end of September (off season) and despite this the hotel showed not the slightest flexibility with the check-in and checkout times.

You get what you pay for with this property! I was a little surprised how outdated this property is., nothing like the pictures on the site. Staff was nice, the food was not all that great! Not much to do around there, rental car is a must.
