Very dated hotel, had to request room change due to sewage smell in bathroom, night duty person said they have 4 rooms that suffer from this…why still put people in these rooms knowing this, or get it fixed (avoid room 17)

Love my stay here at Excelsior Splendide. I got the lake view room and love every minute I spent on the balcony. The pool was very clean and refreshing specially on Italy’s hot summer. The check-in and check-out was a breeze. The breakfast was good and nice variety. The staff were very polite and nice. Would stay here again. There’s an elevator too, if you have mobility issues. It’s conveniently placed too. Lot’s of stores, restaurants and things to do very close.

Excellent hotel everything is at your door step here hotel is like a 25m walk from ferry and a 100m walk from bus stop. Shops and restaurants also at your door step , we had a lake view room and that was fantastic and the aircon was beautiful we couldn’t of asked for more from our stay here

When i travel i require a kettle usually and the staff was so accomodating to find me one. I had similar small requests throughout the stay that were met always with kindness and efficiiency. We loved the pool and gardens and daily included breakfast. I would definitely return and recommend to others!

Absolutely wonderful hotel. Will definitely stay again. The location is fantastic. The pool was refreshing and the restaurant had live music every night that week would hear from our window when it was open.

Location right in front of the lake, one minute walk to the ferry, nice view, nice decoration inside but bed is not comfortable, bathroom is small, AC is controlled so room is not cold, during hot summer is not giving us comfort at all.
