This is my second stay at the Ramada which is very convenient, off the 401, clean, not expensive, had a pool, the rooms were good. It is a good, clean, nice place to stay for an overnight when I needed to be in the area.

The water in the shower was either cold or scolding hot. The pool was not working. Anything we asked the girl at reception she could not answer, she couldn’t make any decisions on her own and zero flexibility at this hotel

Not worth it.

Carpets are stained everywhere. TV did not work. Wall paper falling off walls. We switched to a different room, TV initially worked and then stopped working. Room was impossible to manage a temperature. Toilet ran all night despite attempts to fix. Pillows are essentially small sofa cushions. Pool was out of service.

Room was very dirty. Smelled everywhere. Staff has no idea what they are doing. Charged my credit card and my debit card twice. Now they say they are having a problem refunding my $200 deposit. Absolutely would never recommend this Ramada. I will never stay there again and I need to stay in Trenton a lot but never there again.

The hotel itself is alright but it smells like someone just finished smoking a carton of cigarettes in the haulway/rooms. The toilets leak ans are fairly stained so hearing the water run (refilling the reservoir tank) alnight keept me up a bit. Staff was friendly though so a positive for that.

Awful stay

Don’t know where to start, let’s start with the bed bugs issue, we had a large group that all had bed bug bites and even seen them in the rooms, so make sure you check first before bringing any of your luggage into the room. We rented one of their board rooms and there was broken drywall and drywall dust everywhere and we had to clean the table and chairs before we used them cause they had some kind of juice dried to them. No manager on site and have been promised a phone call or some form of compensation. It is know a week later and no return phone call from my many messages. I’d stay clear if at all possible. On the bright side the restaurant that was attached to the lobby was good.

Not a good stay

Not a good stay for a hockey team. Couple rooms had bed bugs and families were moved to a different room only for the hotel to re-rent the room to other parents on the team. We also Paid $200 to rent a board room for a team function and the tables were stained with old dried juice and broken drywall with drywall dust everywhere. Staff tried to assist but not call back or even check in from a manager. We stayed Thursday- Sunday. Some parents decided to commute from Uxbridge due to the state of the cleanliness of the room. Key cards needed to be re programmed on the regular which was frustrating. The restaurant was good value and food was good. The staff for the most part was attentive and did their best to fix and problem solve problems. Housekeeping and maintenance were part time and not on site. Still waiting for management to call me about the issues and have been told I will hear back Tuesday. I will update if I hear back.

The restaurant had excellent food and the staff were friendly and made the effort to ensure we had an enjoyable time and the hours were very accommodating. For the most part, our room was clean and comfortable with a couple of exceptions. First, the mattress was in bad need of replacement. We spent the night both rolled into the hole in the middle of the bed, so not very comfortable. Second, the bathroom, I'm not even sure where to start. This bathroom was in serious need of a complete renovation. The toilet was the lowest to the floor I have ever seen in my life, very uncomfortable. Both the sink and the tub had large pieces of porcelain missing that were sloppily painted over, but had spots of rust and the grout everywhere was filthy and very badly done. The owners should really be embarrassed. We really enjoyed our stay based on the restaurant and excellent staff, but the bed and bathroom would be deal breakers. If those improvements were made, it would become a favourite place for us to go.
