What a beautiful property and location! Even better, the staff knows how to be great hoteliers...happy, always helpful, fun. Breakfast buffet is superb. Be sure to get the 360 harbor view from the tower terrace.

This primarily is a poor review for Expedia. This hotel was listed as luxury and boutique. It is neither. I arrived late and after a long day of travel and just wanted to go to sleep. I looked at 3 rooms and all were terrible. Old, terribly furnished, things broken and dusty in the hallways the elevator was filthy the shower made me feel more dirty after I took one, terrible skin products. I ended up leaving the next morning and found another place to stay but this awful and unnecessary night ruined my time in Bergen. Def would not recommend.

A comfortable stay and extremely helpful staff. The view from the “tower” is great. The breakfast buffet, afternoon snack and light dinner were most welcome after seeing the prices in Bergen’s eateries.

Great location , staff (Mia Eleen). Were so friendly and super helpful ,made dinner resi for us , had taxi for us just great great service , the included breakfast was a nice option.. Lobby could use updating , it’s old Europe look Be aware power outlets are 220 thankfully front desk had some adaptors and saved the day for us . Hope to get back and would definitely stay here again.

Room was very warm but like most older hotels ac not good but left window open overnight, only real complaint is bathroom door, so old and heavy to slide open and closed,staff so friendly and helpful, would stay again.

Very good property and stay.
Well-located, older property. Excellent staff. Very good breakfast buffet and light supper included, which makes the "net" rate very attractive if you are not intent on going out for expensive meals. Though our room was on 3rd floor over main road, virtually no "road noise" at night. Only room drawback = very limited storage space, so basically lived out of suitcases. Would gladly return.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. Everything was close by within walking distance. The hotel staff were wonderful. They were very dedicated and passionate about the service they were offering; always smiling and checking if the guests needed anything at the breakfast, fika and evening dinner time. The food was great, we really enjoyed the fresh croissants, pancakes and the different varieties of jams/ fruit spreads that were offered. A special mention to the staff member Vita, who went the extra mile to find a vegetarian option at one of the evening meals. We will definitely stay at this hotel wherever they are in Scandinavia.

Excellent choice.
Excellent experience. Warm welcome, spacious room, nice breakfast and evening meal, universally nice staff. Good location. Gym needs some work, but overall I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel as an excellent choice for a visit to Bergen.

Perfect location for a short stay in Bergen. Safe parking available just 50m away (for a fee). Very friendly staff. We arrived 2hrs early and were allowed to check in. The light dinner of soup and salads was delicious, and complimentary, what a treat! Breakfast was so-so. Bed was comfortable. Would stay here again

On a 3 night stay. Rooms a bit small but adequate. Half look into an internal courtyard with windows that are limited to opening a crack. No view but quiet. Great breakfasts. Evening meal ok but no choice either salad or their hot choice like chicken or pasta bolognaise. Convenient for the station and the City Hall boats.
