Great location. Lovely staff. Really huge room. Very pleasant for a family stay. Good breakfast. Fresh pancakes a huge hit with my son. Bar man lovely and remembered our order every evening. Loved it

Breakfast was good but the same every day. It was a nice but oddly laid out suite. The toilet is by the front door which is quite far from the bedroom. Staff was polite but not very helpful.

Very well situated hotel with helpful staff. The room was lovely and comfortable but I have marked it down slightly because the bedroom was a bit dated. The bathroom, however, was lovely and I am guessing it has been recently updated

Smell from sewer can’t be ignored. The cleaning staff had to open the window every morning to easy the smell which ended up with mosquitoes in the room. The front desk staff were not friendly, not even say hi back when we greeted them.

The Mercure hotel has many excellent attributes like location. The rooms are very spacious, quiet, clean and well maintained.The staff is friendly. Some negatives: There is pressure to forego the daily housekeeping which seems the usual protocol in Germany. Our previous hotel offered a free drink for each person per skipped night but Mercure only offered 100 points in a hotel system we are not interested in joining. This seems chintzy. In addition our room coffee service was always missing something and we had to go to the front desk to replenish. The final negative was that the breakfast for the two of us was $56! This seemed over the top and we went to a very nice cafe nearby.

The furnishings were very dated. The air conditioner did not work at all. The staff gave us a fan, which was nice but inadequate. They said they would have someone check the air conditioning, but nothing changed. This is not up to the standards of other Mercure properties.

The kitchen in the suite was not properly equipped. No cutlery or crockery. The cleanliness was mediocre, bugs on the window sills and the carpets in the suite and the hall ways could do with a good scrub.
