The hotel is fine. Clean and mostly pleasant, but very dark rooms. The main issue was the staff’s poor management of the ebookers Platinum benefit. I was offered 78DKK to use during my stay. I asked one staff member specifically if I could use it on snacks instead of a drink. I was told in a very friendly way that it was fine, no problem - it would be credited from the benefit. The next morning I am challenged at check out by a rude staff member who insisted that I pay for the snacks despite being told otherwise the day before. They admitted the other staff member had made an error, but rather than accepting the cost (we’re talking 50DKK or £5), she would not let me leave without paying for it. I can’t remember being shaken down or nickel and dimed by a hotel for an error they made. Safe to say, not impressed.

Very average experience. Advised the hotel in advance of the late arrival and was still allocated to a tiny family room, barely had space for luggage. The beds and mattresses also needs to be replaced. Luckily we are able to change to a bigger room the next day after requesting with the receptionist. The room was not cleaned when we got back to hotel around 6pm, and the house keeper knocked at the door around 6:30pm and asked if we need the room to be cleaned… Breakfast is ok, scrambled egg, bacon and sausages are the hot options. However, the freshly baked bread loaf is very tasty. Will try a different hotel next time.

Dear Wei We are very sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your time with us. The room you had originally booked was a room for 4 people, but I'm glad that you got a room that suited you better. You are always welcome to contact us so we can guide you to the room that is best for you. There is a plan for renovating the rooms where the beds and mattresses will be replaced. As many hotels in Denmark our houskeeping is short staffed and that means that cleaning for stayovers will be after the check out rooms which can be late in the afternoon/evening. The shower and the shower curtain could be cleaned more often. Airflow in the room was quite slow and should be turned up a notch. Women's sauna was cold for some reason, hopefully this will be fixed. Breakfast was good and to-go-lunch-options were nice additions, service was excellent. Location very good concerning Legoland and Lego House.

Breakfast was excellent and the staff was really friendly. Also lots of activities for children: playroom, games and pool area.
