Second time staying here was a different name last time. Still bad experience, water was freezing cold, no soap left, not enough towels, no other bathroom but room, fitness center not even labeled properly had to go on goose chase

When we got there they were doing a ton of remodeling, but the AC was not functioning—could not move us to another room. As well as the hot water was not functioning for about 3 hours. The floors were dirty. Overall, unsatisfied with experience.

The hotel appeared to be in the middle of renovation (or they started renovation and gave up). The check-in counter did not have a countertop, just rough plywood. The door to our room was pulled away from the top hinge. So we had to yank hard to pull the door open - then crank it up by the handle and pull to get it to close it. Otherwise - the room was clean and the staff was nice.

Clean, comfortable room/Lots of cigarette smell
The hotel staff were all extremely helpful, friendly, and kind, no problems at all with check-in and our room was very clean and very comfortable. Quiet room on a quiet floor, which was exactly what we wanted. We asked for extra towels at the desk and got them with no issues. My only suggestion/complaint was that the entire hotel had a very strong odor of cigarette smoke, even in our room, which was non-smoking. It was especially strong in the lobby and in our room. I’m not sure if a previous occupant smoked in our room, if we were given a smoking room by accident, or if it was just people smoking in rooms around us, but it was strong enough that I still smell it on our belongings. I would suggest getting rid of smoking rooms altogether, better clustering them away from the non-smoking rooms, or a better ventilation system. Not sure why it was so strong in the rest of the hotel but the lobby was particularly perfuse with it. We would like to stay here again when we come back in November, but I’d like to not smell like cigarette smoke afterward. Otherwise, very pleased with the stay.
