Spectacular cabin.
Perfect!!Had some abnormal cold temps in the high teens-low 20’s and the Fireplace was just the ticket. Absolutely loved the cabin. Firewood was a challenge however. No one sells in the area. Home Depot was the answer. Property owner was fantastic. Hoping to stay again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Dukes Cabin! It is quaint and cozy and the perfect place to decompress. The property is beautiful- feels like you’re really on an old farm!! The fishing pond made for wonderful memories and a beautiful views! We’d definitely go back!

Wonderful visit
We were in town for a travel baseball tournament and this turned out to be the perfect place to stay. Enough to do when we weren’t my at the field and super relaxing. Everyone had their own space to hang but also had enough room to hang as a family. If we ever have to play in Alabama again, we will definitely stay here again!!

Great cabin in the woods with awesome fishing pond
This is a great getaway cabin in the woods with fishing pond loaded with largemouth bass and bluegill. So get down to the pond early in the morning. The property is secluded in the woods very well-maintained. It is gated so you feel very safe and secure at night while you’re there. I was a little concerned about the mosquitoes around the pond but we didn’t see a one the whole time we were there. The owner did reach out to me to make sure everything was OK and if we needed that was very thoughtful of her. The cabin was very comfortable and we enjoyed sitting on the deck drinking our coffee in the morning or relaxing in the evening. I definitely give it an overall five star rating and if we ever go back I would stay there again. Bob Brown

Perfect Getaway!
I stayed here with my mom and teenage daughter for Christmas and we couldn’t have enjoyed it more! The house is tucked away on a beautiful piece of property with a large pond, yet you are very close to all the amenities of the city. Honestly it is so beautiful and serene at the house that we rarely left. The house is exceptionally clean and has everything you need. If you’re going to be in the Birmingham area, I highly recommend staying here. We are already talking about another visit in the spring!

Your log cabin was even more than we expected-we did not want to leave. It was so serene sitting out on the porches both day and night listening to birds, frogs and insects and the beautiful fountain. We were really surprised when it light up after dark. It was a really nice walk around the lake and watching fish and frogs. Thanks you for allowing us to use your cabin for a whole week.

This was truly a wonderful place to stay. We had a great time.
My husband and I had traveled from California to meet a Buddy of his, who he severed with in the Air Force and his wife. They last served together in Vietnam and hadn’t seen each other in over 52 years. This was the Perfect Place to meet. We left all our children and grandchildren at home. We spent the entire weekend just the four of us, no distractions or interruptions. They cabin was beautiful and clean. So peaceful and quiet. Absolutely a Beautiful experience
I chose to stay at this property because I was meeting my daughter for the first time who is 4 years old. it was one of the most beautiful things I've ever experienced. Not only is the property memorable but it felt like a dream meeting my daughter at this location. I didn't know I was a father until all this time And I'm all for it now. I was able to teach her how to fish at the pond and it was an amazing experience with her I also brung my personal hammock which it was her first time lying on a hammock. I created a beautiful story at this cabin which I highly recommend anybody who wants to experience some peace, quiet and Tranquility. I will definitely be back at this location so I can celebrate some more with my beautiful daughter who I will know for the rest of my life.

Great staycation. 30 miles from our home!
Plenty of fun thing for kids and adults of all ages! Cabin was very nice and had great wi-fi with direct tv, Netflix, and prime included! Catch and release fishing. 8 year old Grandson caught about 25 bream in about 45 minutes.
