Crufts Stay

Nice location but very tired, the rooms need a refurbish, very dated, the hallways are tatty. Breakfast pastries were stale both days. The layout inst great either as we had an elderly relative with us and had to walk miles and miles round very confusing corridors to the rooms, beware only 1 lift! Staff brilliant tough.

The hotel is looking dated in places - bathrooms and pool/spa. Reception staff were pleasant, not so much in the restaurant. Food was OK and fairly priced off the menu. Room was nice and bed was comfortable so that’s the main important thing.

Spa wins it

Great place to stay for work. Much nicer than a cheapo chain and similar cost if jot better. Decor a little tored but other than that SUPERB. I loved the spa facilities. So great

A little disappointed

The welcome staff were great but that was where it ended. The waiter could not understand English and we are still waiting for our bottle of water. Restaurant was too over priced for what it was and most staff could not understand or speak English. On check out day we opened our door to go to breakfast and the cleaning trolly was directly in front of our door and we had to squeeze out as it blocked the door. Made you feel unwelcome and was difficult to get out with our luggage when we did check out as we had to squeeze past not very helpful for someone who suffers with sore joints

Clean & Tidy. Good check in. Bed was uncomfortable . Restaurant overpriced same food /menu in all 3 eating areas boring No variety No availability at the spa at all to book before arrival and whilst we stayed. Staff were all friendly .Sadly at breakfast too keen to clear tables.
