Excellent location for access to canal side bars and restaurants and central Birmingham. Comfortable room which had good facilities and was clean and well presented. We didn't eat breakfast but attended a function and the food was lovely. Staff all friendly and helpful. Nice bar on ground floor. We were on the 11th floor and the road noise at night was noticeable but the hotel did provide ear-plugs. We parked in Q-Park which was an easy walk and there is a drop off outside the hotel for loading and un-loading. Would definitely stay again.

The windows are not good. They let a lot of traffic noise in. If they can't change the windows - extra glass inside? They need to put up sound deadening curtains which are not expensive.

The staff was so helpful and kind. The room was big, but the carpet and blanket was not clean and had some bad smell. The shower area was too small and difficult to take a shower. We could hear the street noise which was sometimes annoying. The breakfast was reasonable, but sometimes there was a man collecting the dishes while we were eating.

This is not a 4* property. Staff were lovely and we got a free drink but other than that - was very unimpressed. The bedding seemed dirty and like it had not been changed and covered in bobbles. The sheets did not fit the bed and so I ended up sleeping on the actual mattress. It was gross. The surrounding hallways did not seem like they had been hoovered. We went for a shower in the morning and it would not heat up for ages and then when it did, it was like a boiling kettle and could not be turned back down. The bottles did not work so we couldn’t use the body wash. No dressing robes. Just very scruffy and expensive. Would not stay in again.

Nice hotel in good location for city centre.
Generally a good stay, hotel in perfect location particularly aa we were visiting the theatre round the corner. Room ok except dust on telly. Also at breakfast phone constantly ringing & no-one wanting to answer it.

Platinum, what Platinum?
I am a so called 'platinum member' with Hoitels.com as I have spent many years staying and booking through them. We picked this hotel specifically as it had VIP access which allows supposedly free room upgrades when required. We were told on arrival all of the hotels.com platinum or vip rewards do not apply to the radisson, and we must sign up to their own membership to get rewards. There were clearly upgraded rooms available and we were not given this, so we will carefully consider our options in future when picking our next hotel.
