Poorly maintained and managed hotel.
This hotel is in very poor condition. The carpets were absolutely filthy. The breakfast was good, but they didn't have enough for everyone who wanted to eat. I noticed a sign on the front desk saying that the CDC said they didn't have to clean the rooms for multiple night stays anymore, and as we were staying for 4 nights and I feel that part of why we choose a hotel over an Air BnB is because the room will be neat and clean upon our return, I asked how often they would be cleaning the room and the receptionist replied "every 2-3 days". So I pressed her as to whether is was "2" or "3" days. She assured me it would be every second day. When the room hadn't been cleaned or even fresh towels delivered by the 3rd day I asked the cleaning staff to clean the room before our return for the night. Disappointingly, upon our return, we discovered the room had in fact not been cleaned. I went to ask the front desk about it and she claimed staff shortage, however, I saw not indication they were advertising for more staff anywhere. The gal at the front desk was gracious and quickly supplied me with fresh towels. We would not have stayed at this hotel if we had known that the room would not be cleaned at all on over the course of our stay. I will be writing an email to Best Western's head office.

The only thing negative I can say is the people in the room above us were extremely loud all night long. I was awake until after 1:30 and they were stomping or jumping off the beds or something all night. Other than that, the hotel it's self was clean, friendly, good breakfast and convenient

Smaller hotel, loud. Could hear people blaring music and kids running around, along with people walking in the room above. Has one elevator, which is old and seems like it might not work at times. But all in all not the worst I've stayed at.

Location of the hotel is good. Close to shopping and restaurants, some within walking distance. The front desk associate seemed a bit clueless of the reservation system and could not find our second room at first. The beds are comfortable but we found a pair of dirty socks under the sheets of one of the beds, making the cleaning of the rooms between guests very questionable. The hotel itself is clean, parking is easy, and breakfast is decent.

I worked in the hotel industry for fifteen years, in maintenance. Check-in was quick, cordial and flawless. Checkout was friendly and pleasant, too. Huge kudos to the desk people, for being so attentive and sincere. When we walked into the room, the first thing I did was an inspection of the room. I was quite impressed, overall. I even checked the filters on the Amana ptac unit, and they were very clean. A hearty, "Well Done!" to the maintenance person/s. Keep up the good work. The breakfasts were absolutely wonderful! A gracious and enthusiastic thank you to the breakfast server, for making certain everything was well stocked. As for housekeeping, we were very happy with the young ladies we spoke with. I know what housekeepers deal with in the hotel industry. They have my utmost respect. Housekeeping is a difficult, repetitive job, and good housekeepers will always have my praises. And lest I forget, the good people in the laundry department. That is a very tough job too, trying to get linens sorted, washed, dried folded just right, and restocked for the next day's needs. And when a washer or dryer goes down for any reason, well that just backs up the whole process! B.W. Roosevelt, you chose your staff very well. Professionals, each and every one! Thank you!
