We enjoyed good food and evening entertainment - an overall pleasant stay. The room was nice, but the only criticism we had was that the toilet was situated too close to the bath and radiator.

The staff at this hotel were very friendly. However, even before we had seen the room, reception staff were apologising for it and assured us we would be moved for our second night to a better room. The first room was very dated - probably not been decorated since 1980s. Low water pressure in bathroom, mattresses old and uncomfortable. Second room much larger and more recently decorated, but still looked worn and in need of refurbishment (and have you not heard of mattress toppers?) A great pity that windows not regularly cleaned as sea view seriously marred by grime! Water pressure better (possibly due to being on lower floor). I had expected better from seeing previously posted reviews. One of the two lifts had clearly been out of action for several years! Location good. Easy stroll to main Blackpool attractions and close to tram stop. Would I use this hotel again? No, although it was clear that some of the guests were regular visitors!

First time in Blackpool
Well located hotel in Blackpool. Easy and friendly check-in and close to the north pier. Hotel was very warm and parking as a bit onerous but that is my only complaint and every hotel appeared to be the same. I would happily recommend this hotel, and mainly based on the friendly staff and location.

Hotel was in a good position. Nice reception area and dining room. Bedroom clean and spacious with sea view. Plenty of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits in room. Could do with beside lamps as lighting was rather bright to have on when our 6 yr old grandaughter had fallen asleep. Bathroom old fashioned with dated sink and shower curtain with shower over bath. Nice breakfast and pleasant stay overall. Good having two chairs and coffee table in front of bay window looking out to see whilst having beverage.

Good points - The staff were very welcoming and helpful. My grandchildren loved the sea view from their bed. Value for money with plenty to do. Clean and accommodating. Bad points - The bad from the music below kept us awake until midnight, staff were unaware but said it would be mentioned to management. Not enough parking. Overall - I would recommend and return to this hotel.

I would not stay here ever again, the only good thing i can say is the food is delicious, im a lady who has to use a electric wheelchair, my wheelchair is damaged so badly getting in and out of the doorway,i didn't get any sleep the 3 nights we were there, the bed our grandsons slept in was awful, the mattress was so thin,i could swear it was a mattress topper,its the worst hotel we have ever stayed in,we had to pay £50 extra which they said we would get back and ive just been in touch with my bank and they've said that the £50 has been taken back the hotel out of my account because i checked my account and the money is missing from my account, they told me i would get it back and i didn't have to worry about it because i was so worried because when we booked it there was nothing there that said we had to pay this extra £50 until we got to the hotel ,really spoilt our few dats away

Had to pay £50 deposit on arrival and a extra £30 for parking ( £10 a day) before we even got the keys! Told the receptionist i didnt see about the parking she said its on the website, and i should of looked, The room was old and dated! the beds was like sleeping on a rock they was so uncomfortable. Carpets was stained and wallparer coming off. The bathroom was old and needs a revamp, bathroom smelled like sewage in the mornings smell was very strong. The hotel Was close to all attractions. Just a 10 min walk, hotel was clean and staff was helpfull and friendly

We stayed at the Park House Hotel for 1 night on 20th August 2024. The hotel is in a lovely position on North Promenade about a 15 minute walk to North Pier but also has a tram stop close by. First impression - very good. Lovely reception area, sun room and bar. We had our evening meal in the bar, excellent food with reasonable prices. The hotel provides evening entertainment 7 nights a week, the show we saw was excellent. Rooms - we had a lovely family room with a side sea view. The room was excellent with a double bed and a single bed. Very spacious, clean, ample storage unit and drawers. TV and tea & coffee facilities. The bathroom was a lovely surprise and had a large ‘walk in shower’. The dining room was large, beautifully set up with lovely welcoming friendly staff. Breakfast was fabulous! Overall - all the staff were fabulous, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Great food, reasonably priced drinks, fabulous entertainment. A lovely hotel in a fabulous position. Would we stay again? Most definitely!!
